Magic JordanParticipantHello friends and fellow basketball experts. I’m bored and looking for a project so I figured I would ask other NBA heads to get some ideas.
Is there anything you’ve ever wanted from an NBA site? A feature that doesn’t currently exist somewhere else? A streamlined way to look up stats or compare to players? Anything?
Essentially I’going to throw together a site, preferably about basketball. Any suggestions are welcome…. Realistic or not.

Hype MachineAny respectable basketball website needs a Hype Machine column.
Additionally, I’m stepping up my scouting game in 2017. Theres a strong possibility I could need a digital platform for a bold new venture.
I am relocating internationally for professional reasons, yet the location is still tbd so cannot provide anything more than that at this stage. Likely Europe or Asia.
I’ll also be travelling as a hoops missionary to traditional non-hooping countries like Vietnam, Papau New Guinea and Malaysia. I plan on hosting camps there.

ChoppyParticipantI’m personally of the opinion that there can never be enough basketball websites. I’m not sure what content could be added that isn’t somewhere else on the net, but any different perspectives writers have on the NBA interests me. That’s why I believe there is always room for more.
One thing that you might look at doing (this would be more for people like me that haven’t grown up with basketball and don’t fully understand the technical nuances of the game) would be have a section on strategy/coaching. I mean, when someone says a team is running a "horns" play, I have no idea what they’re talking about. Perhaps videos breaking down plays that teams commonly use would be something I’ve never seen anywhere else. Basketball websites often assume that it’s viewers have an established understanding of the technicalities of the sport. But there are casual fans that don’t have that. I think it could be useful.

natevalParticipantThis is a really cool site below. Maybe incorporate somthing similar to your site? Good tool to use when comparing players to one an onther as well as to the rest of the league.
