Heat's 9 game winning streak could end tonight verses the Jazz!!
lol no money. I thought the Jazz were gonna get killed in tonight's game. So in reality my post was just a reaction to my surprise and utter excitement over what the Jazz are doing to the Heat so far. Far exceeded my expectations tonight. Keep it up, Utah.
Lol Heat are gonna win this game.
Seriously thought the Jazz are really doing a good job getting extra possessions but they NEED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM. The effort has been there but the execution has been sloppy. On the plus side the Heats team defense, team rebounding and two stars Wade and Lebron are all sleeping. Battier is keeping them in the game and Wade is waking up here with 6 points in the qaurter. I still wouldnt bet on the Jazz while they are up by 16.
It seems like every time we play the Heat, Wade kills us with a buzzer beater. Seriously, the number of classics these teams have had in the last 5 years is crazy. There was the miracle in Miami last year, the triple OT the year before, and in each of the years before that, D Wade killed em with a buzzer beater. I'm not predicting the Jazz will win until they're up 40 or there's no time on the clock.
Heat shouldnt even be in this game. I gaurentee if Utah keeps missing these easy shots they will lose because Miami wil not play like this in the last 15.
Pittman off the glass! The bank is open!

Playing against Lebron must really suck. What can you really do to stop him.
Aww man...
If Lebron starts closing games like this consistantly...he could start moving up that All Timer list at the speed of light.
JAZZ WIN. I told you. Miami's winning streak is stopped. Jazz just beat the best team in the league. Still can't contain my utter excitement.
It;s funny how Lebron always get's the blame despite Wade being the reason they lost. If Wade didn't miss that free throw they make it a 3 point game. And since it was only a 2 point game if Wade don't foul Harris for the and one then it's a tie game going to overtime if Lebron don't pass...
The bottom line with Lebron is, he NEEDS to make a game winner. If he keeps taking them and misses, he will be criticized. If he keeps passing it off late, he will be criticized. Until he comes through in crunch time, people will ridicule him. He was on fire down the stretch, and he could have hit that shot and shut all the doubters up, but instead he passed it off, and Haslem missed.
No way. He was putting up ridiculous shots in that quarter, they were all going in, all of them. He had to take that shot. The way he was going, he could have punted it in. No excuse right there.
First things first, gotta put some blame on D. Wade for choking at the line and committing the first foul on Harris. And LeBron hit two huge shots to give them the lead.
But... I don't get it. Can someone please explain why he didn't shoot it? I mean, you could just see he never thought shoot. He was thinking pass that whole time. The moment was right for him to shoot and make that shot. Going hard to his left, which he's really good at pulling up. He had space to shoot. I just don't get it... this is what I was saying in the other thread.
Big shot by Devin Harris. Jazz finally close out a game.
The Heat are also handicapped in these situations when they chose to give Lebron the ball, because its so blatantly obvious Wade isn't getting it, just based on his body language. For the past year, I've been watching the Heat break the huddle with the game hanging in the balance. You know if Wade is getting the ball or not getting the ball just based on the look on his face.
Hate to be the guy to defend Lebron but WTF do you guys want from him. I mean seriously the guy played a perfect 4th qaurter under pressure and he still recieves hate. Not trying to call you out IndianaBasketball but just wonering what else do you want from him, did you watch the shots and hustle plays he was making? Do you want him to take a contested pull up jumper while in double coverage, or pass to the open man, in the open mans sweet spot, WHILE BEING WIDE OPEN. I honestly think you really do just hate on Lebron if you have anything negative to say about him AT ALL after that performance.
If Paul George had a game like Lebron just had people would probally be calling him...the next Lebron James. Funny thing is Lebron James is the Lebron James and some respect need to be handed the &$#%#&@! out.
Guys need to think about this. Who cares who hits it. He made the right pass, Haslem was wide open in his sweet spot, Haslem missed. HASLEM MISSED. This is not Lebrons fault. HASLEM MISSED.
Jesus Christ! This is not Lebrons fault, the game wouldnt even be close if not for Lebron. He made all the right plays, the pass was the right play. You think he cares if you say he made the wrong play when he knows, Haslem knows, Wade knows, his coach knows, and everyone who matters to the Heats success knows he made the right play.
I could see if his shot was off during that quarter, but again, he was hitting everything, it was insane. I don't care if he defers at the end of games, but in this one, he had to take it. That was not the right play tonight.
Nothing matters but the possession. What happened happened, none of that matters. What matters is he was pressured by two Jazz defenders and Haslem was wide open with 2 seconds in his sweet spot. If he forced that shot and missed he wouldve had 100 times the negative feedback, and people would have complained for him not passing to Haslem.
Now maybe he shouldnt have drove, maybe he shouldve ran an iso 6 feet out of the three point line and taken a selfish Gilbert Arenas three for the camera's, media, and haters, but instead he made a very unselfish team play, kept the haters and media from influencing his game, and made a pass to leave his teammate wide open. evrything from that point was out of his hands.
Wow... So let me get this straight. It's amazing when he's taking/making double clutch long twos and bringing his team back, but wrong to expect him to be selfish and take the shot that will decide who wins or loses???
The fact he didn't take that shot doesn't take away anything from how dominant he was in the 4th, but seriously... He has to take that shot and take/welcome full responsibility for that final moment regardless if he makes/misses. He never looked like he wanted to shoot that possession. He didn't have the same look as he did earlier in the 4th when you knew he was going to shoot and nobody could stop him.
Does Harping just dislike LeBron too??? He said basically the same thing.
Not trying to make this another LeBron thread. Gotta give Jazz credit for pulling this out, even though Heat were without Bosh.
After the game, Magic, Jon Barry, Chris Brossard all said it best, it was the right play, but they just want to see Lebron shoot the ball.
At this point we all just want to see Lebron shot the ball. I dont even care if he misses, I just want to see him shoot it.
It is not a BAD PLAY. No matter what your opinion is on whether Lebron should take that shot or not the play was the RIGHT play. That was a textbook basketball play. You never force a shot in double coverage if you have a capable shot maker wide open in his sweet spot.
How do you think Udonis would feel if Lebron just shot it and missed while he was standing there all alone waiting to win the game. What would you guys be saying if Haslem hit it? Good play by Lebron? Thats what it was, it was a great read to draw the double. Lebron showed complete confidence before that inbound and looked completely unphased standing in the key before his screen on the inbound pass I was watching it all rationally watching to read Lebron in the clutch. I knew as soon as Haslem missed everyone would start posting some BS about he he has no killer instinct.
You guys are so wrong, he won the game twice for the Heat its just that Wade lost the game for the Heat twice, and Haslem lost it for them once. Thats 2 wins and 3 losses in crunch time whch eqauled 1 loss in total.
#LEAVELEBRONALONE
I'm not blaming LeBron for the loss... I actually put more blame on D.Wade. He made some bad plays down the stretch. You also have to blame the Heats bigs getting beat up on the glass. Jazz played with good energy tonight. And Haslem makes a living making that shot.
Still, LeBron has to shoot that shot. Perfect basketball play though. I mean, I guess you can't be too mad about it. He didn't do anything wrong.
LeBron takes and makes shot: "LOL LEBUM LUCKY. NOW LETS SEE YOU DO THAT IN THE FINALS"
LeBron takes and misses shot: "LOL LECHOKE SUCKS HE NOT CLUTCH HAHA"
LeBron passes and teammate makes shot: "LOL LEBIIIITCH KNEW HE COULDNT MAKE THE SHOT SO HE JUST PASSED IT"
LeBron passes and teammate misses shot: "WTF LEBUM SHOULDA TOOK THE SHOT. WHAT A GAY ASS COWARD"
number 4 tonight
Indianabasketball you have to understand something Lebron isnt thinking shoot, he is thinking win. Thats all. You are thinking Lebron needs to shoot. You and many other people went into that play watching and thinking if Lebron shoots and misses Im going to say something to dog him, if he does not get a shot off Im gonna dog him, if he passes Im gonna dog him, and if he makes the shot Im gonna say something encouraging. But he has to shoot the ball.
He went into the possession blocking out thoughts saying "they all want you to shoot, you have to shut the haters up" and made the right play. Do you know how much respect that deserves and how much mental concentration it takes to just make the right play.
Wtf are you talking about lol? You lost me...
Wanting LeBron to shoot and make that shot is not a bad thing. Had he taken and made that shot, not one person would've said "Haslen was wide open." Had he taken and made that shot, LeBron's supporters would've been going nuts. Had he taken and missed that shot, you live with the outcome. Especially with the quarter he was having.
I never once wrote it wasn't a great basketball play.
Okay, right.
I actually wanted him to take and make the shot. I think he needs it, especially after the All-Star situation.
But he'll have more opportunities.

Jazz up by 13 over the Heat at the half. Jazz playing with great energy and hustle. Really dominating the Heat on both ends of the court. This has just been an unbelievable game so far. Battier is having a great game. He is perfect from 3 with 5 threes and 15 points. Jefferson leads the Jazz with 12. The Jazz have really been focusing on dwade and lebron, which is why Battier has gotten so many threes, they are practically leaving him wide open. (That's the only problem I see with the way the Jazz are playing). The Jazz really could stop the Heat's 9 game winning streak tonight! Who would've thought?
