He’s gone 4 sure. I used to want him to stay,but I have givin up my hope that he will develop into a good offensive player. He will be a defensive presence,but so is anybody thats that tall. He will always be a 5th option on offense and I think he will be a bust.

I see him averaging 7pts, 7rbs, and 2 blks, thats all I can see him getting unless he has a good point that can get him a couple of extra buckets. If this kid has any sense at all, he’ll bolt for the draft before anybody realizes just how big of a bust he’s going to be.

Forget for a moment that he has no offensive game to speak of. To me, it comes down to the fact that he has no upper body strength whatsoever. To that end, it’s not just that he lacks muscular development – it’s that his frame is simply too small.

Thabeet is a true, back-to-the-basket center. Look at his shoulders, not to mention his chest, and then compare them to those of other true, back-to-the-basket centers. Heck, compare them to those of half the point-guards in the NBA! The difference should be glaring and obvious.
