MalcolmxParticipantI must admit the Harrisons played better today especially Andrew. A lot of scouts were beginning to write them off and saying they needed to stay in school because it was no longer a given that they would be 1st round picks. I think after today they may get some consideration and if they can continue the play they will be back in the 1st round.
Side note: That last assist from Andrew to Alex pothress was beautiful. Left handed across the paint in traffic for a dunk. Great pass.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantFrom pure size and talent, I doubt they would’ve fallen out of the first round, some playoff team that’s picking at at the end of the first would take a flyer on them and allow them to sit and learn for a few years

MalcolmxParticipantI had thought the same thing,I thought some scouts were just blowing smoke when saying they would not touch them in the first round. But then the other side of me said "maybe these scouts really won’t draft them in the 1st round, and want to see them in school another year."

phila9012ParticipantGuys like them would develop better in the NBA in the right environment. Lance Stephenson was brought up in a professional environment, he would not be how good he is today if he stayed in college. This is the case with some guys where they just don’t get much out of being in college, but when they get to the NBA they have time and the team has people around them who can support them and focus on developing them as players and as people. A lot of that depends on the team, like if they go to the kings they could be out of the league in 2 or 3 years but if they go to a team like the thunder, pacers, spurs they could have long careers and grow as people and as players.

TheLastWordParticipantHe doesn’t show the great PG instincts everyone thought he had, but does have a knack for getting to the line. That is one of the more translatable NBA skills.

omphalosParticipantDoes anybody else want to see a team with two first-round picks draft both players to be their starting backcourt of the future? I’d love to see a team play with twins together on the next level. Similar to how the Morris twins have played a lot better together than apart.
I just can’t think of a team in need of a young backcourt. Perhaps the Lakers or Spurs?

TheLastWordParticipantWell…..one of the reasons people thought Kentucky would have a historic team is these two playing together in the back court. Maybe they’ll improve, but are hardly good enough an NBA team would bet two first round picks in this loaded draft for.

MopgrassParticipantIn HS Andrew did a lot in transition and moved the ball a lot. His team played team ball. With Julius Randle, they rightfully play more half-court style. It just isn’t how Andrew shines.
