ronniemiller1kParticipantim drinking this guys kool-aid and really excited to watch him play this year. What is his expectations statistically and whose collegiate season will he most likely compare to? Im expecting a thaddeus young type game and to have similar stats to his year at GT from everything i hear about him but id like some more expert opinions.

Mr. 19134ParticipantYeah Thad Young’s season at GT is a very good starting point for figuring out what kind of year he will have. Not to many freshman have mega productive freshman years under Roy Williams but Barnes could be the exception. I’m expecting like 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists from him this year.

canesboy6ParticipantTo me it depends on his usage. Will they use him in the flow of the offense, or ISO him alot?
I have a feeling he goes nuts this year. He is the most polished elite wing scorer in quite some time, and 20 ppg wouldnt shock me. 17 7 and 3 isnt bad. I think he might score more and rebound a little less though, with Henson and Zeller getting most of the boards.
