Grizzlies @ Clippers
These are some God-awful jerseys the Grizzlies are wearing.
Clippers arnt much better. Isnt those Grizzlies uniforms the same as the washington generals
I'm so baffled as to why they are wearing those jerseys, unless it's some odd tribute to Australia (Jan 26th is Australia day and our colours are green and gold).
If anyone finds out the reason for the madness let me know.
Will be interesting to see how Clippers bounce back from the loss to Lakers.
Blake Griffin looked like he exploded out of a cannon to get that rebound...
His jumpshot is looking good. Elbow straight. One motion and solid follow through.
Don't usually care about uniforms but daamn they're ugly.
yeah... just terrible to look at... damn NBA sched having 2 games today... It sucked the life out of me... so boring
these uniforms are unbearable wow.. i just turned the game on, didn't know who was who at first
I hope we can still be friends... After my Pacers celebrated on your home floor lol.
Grizzlies look like they're playing for the Australian Basketball team.
@Indiana --- yeah...I heard Derrick Rose wasn't too happy with your celebration...He's putting a mark on the next meeting...lol
I think when you acquired David West, you have become a stronger team than last year though.. Give props to the Pacers for gutting out a win at the United Center...
Anyone else think it would be hilarious if Marc gave Paul a pat on the head after the game?
damn... it's like watching the Globetrotters and the Generals... it's just not right...lol
Damn I didn't know Blake Griffin had so many post moves
The Clippers and Grizzlies wore ABA-style jerseys for their game in Los Angeles Thursday night. The throwbacks are in celebration of the 45th anniversary of the ABA’s founding. The Clippers’ uniforms are the ones worn by the Los Angeles Stars, a former ABA team from 1968-1970. The Grizzlies jerseys are green and yellow to commemorate the Memphis Tams, a former ABA team.
just read that the grizz are wearing the memphis Tams jersey from the old ABA days to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the aba's founding.
This game oozes playoff atmosphere.
Is it just me or is this condensed schedule giving more of these games a playoff atmosphere?
He is horrible!! Streaky shooter, horrible handles, and bad decision.
Other than that, I like this Memphis team, but they need to get Zach back healthy to make another playoff run.
ya every game seems to have more importance.. teams are playing harder, yet the quality of play is pretty bad. Watch the offenses, these sets are pretty brutal and noone seems to know where to go.
Also blake needs to start abusing rudy in the post
Green and Gold, same colors as the Oakland Athletics.
And this is why OJ Mayo isn't a starter
Blake Griffin and Rudy Gay are the 2 Most NASTIEST DUNKERS IN THE NBA!!!
Yea, just keep watching him. You'll notice that he actually already has a few go-to moves on each block.
Don't pay attention to ESPN and you'll start to notice the moves he did before the dunks.
Did not watch all of the game, but from what I captured up to the 2nd half, before I watched the back of my lids was some pretty decent play.
Clips won't my focal point but what I noticed was an on fire Caron Butler from the side pocket. Blake has excellent footwork in the paint with his back to the basket, very deceptive with his moves keeping Speights off balance. Chauncey is just the man! The way he came through the lane on that reverse layup told me he is still serious biz. I loved how he would attack the paint then look to dish to create shts for others.
I am a Selby supporter to the fullest, but now you hear me say it... I hate him as a PG, he does not handle the ball well & is so erratic in his motion with the ball. Rudy is a gamer and nothing short of the word. I love the way he has that patent go-to move and he is very clutch not even referring to the buzzer beater. Rudy really has improved as a shooter. You all may be disappointed in Mayo, but not I. I did not even focus on his offensive play, last night he stood out to me on the defensive end. As soon as he came in he forced a turnover. If you all payed close attention he showed last night he was being very heady playing the passing lanes and switching over to alter the guys shot. Juice problem is he gets beat after the recovery on the quick step once he gets back to the spot. Conley has really dummed down his game since HS/college, it's as if he only goes full-tilt on fast break situations off turnovers.
