     Now I want to talk here about Greek player Iakovos Alifieris.

    He is 18 years old. He is like a high school senior in USA classification.

    He is a 6-3 tall 175 weight point guard / shooting guard. 

    He plays in the Greek club Egaleo in the Greek 4th Division, in the senior men’s amateur league (so in a men’s league, but an amateur one, not a pro one or a semi pro one).

    He can play in either guard position, as point guard or shooting guard. He is a good ball handler, is quick, is fast with the ball, and he can play well off the ball and on the ball.

    He is a very good shooter. He can shoot from off screens and also from off dribble, in half court sets, and on pull up jumpers in transition. He has a quick release and is a pure shooter, with very good long distance range on his jump shot. He can also score well from mid range.

     He’s more of a shooting guard, but he looks more like he’s 6’2". He’s fast, but he’s not so athletic that he’ll be able to get to the rack in pros. He could be a really great shooter, but right now he shoots it exceptionally flat (zero arc). It’s actually impressive how much he makes it without any arc. Somebody to watch.
