I understand they have a lot of guards on their roster, but what do you guys think the chances of him sticking are?
they long for shooting but is him being undersized too much on a guard heavier roster?
I think there's a good shot. They sat him and Malcom Thomas out tonight, both guys played great so far.
They didn't sit Goudelock, he was 4 of 13 but did well down the stretch.
Damn, I can't believe I overlooked that. My thought remains the same, though, the Bulls picked up
John Lucas III and then Nate to fill a role that Andrew could fill. Ideally I'd love Chicago to re-sign Nate, but if they opt for a cheaper option, Goudelock could be a great fit in that role. He had a pretty decent rookie year and I was a bit surprised to see him out of the league, but Chicago could be a great team to reboot his career due to that role they have that launched JL3 and brought Nate back from obscurity. If you're a combo that doesnt require a huge contract and that can score, the Bulls' bench has to one of the best places to be.
I'm a big fan of Goudelock and since he hasn't signed with the Bulls I think it would be cool if the Magic took a chance of putting him as their PG, they have enough athleticism with Oladipo, Harkless, and Harris. Goudelock would be a good guy to spread the court for them. I may be biased but he can really score he can shoot from any where, one of the best floaters in the NBA and his handles and quickness have improved with experience. Of course every PG that can shoot gets the Steph Curry comparison, but to me Goudelock resembles him the most because of his creative ability, he just finds ways to score.
He deserves a roster spot since he played so well with the Lakers
definitely deserves a spot, bulls need a scorer. They have a bunch of two way players who can score but dont go for explosions on offense besides Drose. Their 2 guard spot is weak in depth and they already have 3 pgs. I hope they give one of their 2 spots to goudelock. This guy is 6'3 and with the shooting guard position's height averaging shorter and shorter i think he definitely can compete. He is very confident in his perimeter jump shot which will definitely add to the bulls success. I also hope they give the other 2 guard spot to rautins.I really liked him at Syracuse, and he is a 3pt shooter, and we know the bulls have enough toughness and defenders they need atleast one more shooter.
i still don't understand why Lakers gave up on Goudelock, i was impress with him in the playoff, against Spurs in the first round, he was arguably their best player in that series...
Mini Mamba should make the Bulls
