GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantKlay’s J work is wet beyond wet.
We are seeing what impact Barnes has on a game when he’s not hitting jumpers, this is the thing that worries me about his game. He needs to find other ways to contribute when the jumper is falling. He is having issues guardi Jordan Hamilton as well. Denver is clearly not the Lakers0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/14/2012 - 1:15pm #696022
WizardofOzParticipantBarnes is doing a pretty nice job defensively.
On offense it’s a different story though. He’s trying to do too much creating w/ the ball. I remember Klay giving him an open shot off a screen and Barnes didn’t take it. Take those open jimmies man!

WizardofOzParticipantI would hate to be one of the frontcourt players for GSW. Faried is just playing like a bowling ball knocking down pins lol.

Cavaliers420ParticipantGood game from what I saw in the first 2 quarters. Really like that kid Denver drafted, Evan Fournier? He’s going to be good if he continues to develop his skills.

WizardofOzParticipantYeah Fournier reminds me of a smaller Gallinari with his ball-hallhanding and passing.

TMoney617ParticipantThompson is a really nice player and Barnes has really impressed me with his effort on defense even though his shot isn’t falling. Denver has some great young wing players in Hamilton, Fournier, and Quincy Miller. It’s a shame there won’t be many minutes to spread around with Danilo, Chandler, and Afflalo getting most of them.

nateoak10ParticipantIt’s just one of those days for Barnes. He’s hustling on defense and rebounding but he literally can’t make a layup today. He just missed a dunk as well. Just one of those days

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantIt’s not just one of those days because this is something we have all seen before when his jumper isn’t falling. He’s not the greatest finisher with contact and struggles to create for himself out side of two dribble pull ups. He’s still talented and has a bright future but these are things he needs to work on. He missed the dunk because it was contested.
His performance would have qualified for "one of those days" if this wasn’t something we have seen from here plenty of times before

nateoak10ParticipantHe wasn’t missing through contact, he was missing open layup and dunks and wide open jumpers. That dunk was hardly contested, there was someone by the rim but it’s not like he was really in his face. And his defense was actually really impressive today
