llperezone of the more interesting things i saw was some of the guys who were voted as best pure shooter. Brandon jennings and ty lawson both got votes. I know thye are solid shooters, but the best in the league?

JNixonParticipantKobe Bryant isn’t the best perimeter defender in the NBA.
Chris Paul will prove to the rest of the NBA sooner or later that he is the best PG in the NBA once again. He’s a notch or notches above every PG in the game when healthy

butidonthavemoneyDeron Williams is finally where he belongs.
Also Utah’s coaching staff continues to reign supreme.

BasterdInABasketParticipantDwight Howard is not the toughest player in the league that is for sure

mj23mj23besteverParticipanttotally agree on the post about all the love for nash still be hard for one season to pass him as my pg for one season as he still is the best passer and leader in the nba

samsonpeParticipantgood to see nash is getting some love from gm’s and ppl on this site. he’s lost a step or two but is still getting it done. hopeuflly hedo doesn’t bring him down this season.
agree with dwill as the best 1. even with cp healthy dwill is just too steady and above avg in every category to lose his place. playing in sloan’s system hurts his individual numbers which may throw ppl off.
lebron as the best sf? agree for now, only until durant puts on 20 of muscle, then it’s a different story.
agree with jNixon, Kobe isn’t the best perimeter defender in the league.

MkadozaParticipantYou say even when Chris Paul is healthy? Paul when he’s healthy is a better shooter, defender, passer, and less turnover prone. Paul when hes healthy has legitimate 21-5-12-2.5 stls, 2.5 tos talent, with 50%, 40%, 90% percentages. Paul was on the cusp of having the complete game with his imensely improved 3 point shot. Its really just my opinion, and I have no problem with anyone who thinks Williams is number 1. But I think Paul is gonna play with a vengence.

joecheck88Participantand lebron wasnt on the list for last shot. where is everyone now that says lebron is clutch, no gms want him taking the last shot for their team.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe GM’s must not like LeBron…
LeBron receiving only three perecent of the MVP vote is ridiculous… He’s the two time back to back MVP.
I’m not buying that 56% of GM’s in the NBA would build their franchises around Durant over LeBron.
There are some great athletes in the NBA, but LeBron’s margin for being the most athletic player in the league should be higher…
Dwight Howard isn’t a tough guy…
Kobe is no longer the best perimeter defender in the league. He’s still a great defender, but only in small stretches.
I think Kobe has the highest basketball IQ. Nash has a high offensive IQ, but what about the other end of the floor? And I don’t think Nash is a better leader than Billups and Kobe either.

HitsterParticipantLots of love for Utah’s offence and their coaching staff I see. The most telling stat is that Kobe is the guy they want to see taking the final shot I think.
