So your the suns owner and Dragic says he does not want to come back, he has his teams listed and so far two offers on the table. Which offer do you take so far

Case 1 – Let it play out, see if you can sign to max, If not use cap room and continue to develop

I think you have to trade him…. It depends if you want to make a run for the playoffs. If that’s the case I  think I would trade him to the Knicks because Calderon is a compentant back up with experience and Hardaway can shoot. If I’m throwing the white flag up take the Miami Deal in a heartbeat.

kind of surprised that he asked for a trade..the suns had become his team..especially a year after having the best season of his career and the team signing his brother who is a borderline nba player..but i hope the heat can get him..they need an upgrade in their backcourt..maybe offer chalmers in return…chalmers isnt a star, he’s experienced guard capable of making big shots,but also has extended periods of inconsistency…

LaL sends: Nash and a 1st round pick

Phx gets: Monroe, Kcp, Nash, and a 1st round pick in the following draft

Bledsoe – Kcp – Green – Monroe – Plumlee

Thomas – Goodwin – Warren – Wright – Len

This gives Phoneix high characther guys, a low post scorer, shooter in the back court, and a 1st round pick for next years draft. This also allows Steve Nash to retire as a Sun and let his contract expire with them.

This gives Detroit players who can stretch the floor and it sells Jennings while his worth is high. They also get something back for Monroe.

Marc Stein is reporting that the Suns and Heat agreed on a deal involving Dragic. 

If the Heat can pull that off with only giving back picks this is still a gamble but a pretty nice one to me. I think one of the Heat PGs will be involved too even if this means there are still a lot of PGs in Phoenix.
