PhillySports0ParticipantDo you guys think he will make the rookie-sophomore game? His numbers right now are 6.5 PPG 4.0 RPG and 1.1 APG… his numbers dont really justify how good he has been playing of late. I really hope he makes it I’d love to see him in an all star showcase

GrandmamaParticipantYeah he should make it. There really aren’t many rookies doing much this year, and Giannis is getting solid minutes right now as a starter. I think they usually take 10-11 guys per team, so I definitely think he will be in that top 10.

drk3351ParticipantMore like 8 per team from what I remember, and yeah I think he makes it. I’d love to see him there that’s for sure.

Sewok15ParticipantNBA.com has him ranked as the 7th best rookie this year so far so he should make it…what I find interesting is that they ranked Hollis Thompson of the Sixers ahead of him at 6….and he was undrafted. I will be interesting to see who they take for the rookie game. There are really only 5 locks right now and they would be MCW, Oladipo, Trey Burke, McLemore and Tim Hardaway Jr.

vulture711ParticipantHe’s got game as does his brother playing on the 87ers in the D league. What I’m looking for info on is whether his brother is eligible to be called up to the NBA or not. I read where he would be available for this years draft – so I’m guessing he has to stay in the D league until he goes through that process

B-ball fanParticipantGiannis would be great to see in an all-star setting. He gets enough dunks as it is in regular NBA games. I definitely would like to see him let loose and show off in the open court.

Ebown5ParticipantI am impressed with this kid. His name is so crazy that it will be interesting to see if he becomes a big enough star for everyone to learn how to pronounce it correctly.
I remember when ilgauskis was first drafted and nobody could say his name for a while. Now pretty much any nba fan can say it correctly, even if it is impossible to spell.
