Gasol's comments about "a fresh start"

According to HoopsHype, Gasol commented that he may request a trade if both Howard and D'Antoni are still with the team end of the year. Do the Lakers now almost have to trade him before the deadline? They most certainly can wait to see how things play out this season, but with the Lakers only 3 1/2 games behind #8 Houston, I think they need to maximize their playoff chances by dealing any disgruntle players. And how does Howard and D'Antoni feel about hearing this? The Lakers obviously would prefer Howard, but it's sad bc Gasol really wants to be a Laker, while the same cannot be said about Howard.

Get rid of d'antoni..firing

Get rid of d'antoni..firing mike brown was a minor mistake but hiring d'antoni was a huge mistake. Why wouldn't you want mike brown (a defensive minded coach) coaching the 3 time defensive player of the year. It baffles me. All they had to do is tell mike brown to scrap the Princeton offense.
Anyways pau is a great player and deserves so much more respect than d'antoni is giving him. If trade pau what do they get? I'd like to see the lakers get a solid young point man for the future but I really don't see many trades that make any sense.

Lamar would of been such a solid fit at the 4 for this team it's a shame they traded him away and kept mwp

I heard Pau say "If I do not

I heard Pau say "If I do not perform I understand I may get traded. I have not been performing"

He understands its a business and it prob best if both sides parted ways. I would have loved to have seen him go to Memphis to play with his brother but thats very unlikely now they already made their big trade moving Gay.

I dont' know what teams are interested, I heard a rumour about Bargnani but you hear hundreds of rumours....
