Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipantHe’s only played 7 D-1 games, and he’s already 22. But his nickname is "The Mitten", after his father "The Glove" Gary Payton. He’s sure living up to that nickname. A 6’3" 175 pound shooting guard/point guard, playing great defense, and averaging 2.1 steals, 1.4 blocks, and 9.6 rebounds, he’s kind of playing like a mini KJ McDaniels. He’s also averaging 14 points and 2 assists, while shooting 57% from the field, 81% from the line, and 47% from 3. He’s also getting to play 36 minutes a game, out of 40. He’ll probably be a good player in Europe. I think someone will give him an NBA tryout because of who his dad is. He could possibly do something with that if given that opportunity, come in to shut down some big name prospects, but because he doesn’t look good enough on offense, they’ll say he can’t make it.
I’ve always been intrigued by him, and Sam Cassell Jr. at UCONN.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI just tried adding Sam Cassell Jr to my mock pool and it says he is ineligible??? This site needs to fix that, make him eligible. He may be in the same Gary Payton II will be in come 2015 draft but some team(s) is going to give him a shot just because of his dad. He may not impress very many teams but so many teams are looking for just fill ins in the second round. They are looking for guys for their d-league affiliate, guys that might be able to help out 3 or 4 years down the road, and won’t even count on books until then as well (and that’s if they sign him. Some team might think both of those players are worth it, give them a shot and draft them in the late 2nd round. This site needs to fix that, make Cassell eligible. I can understand why neither of them are in either of the mocks but at least make both of them eligible.

RUDEBOY_Participantundertaker maybe you should send mikeyv an email so he can correct that..
alot of times the profiles of prospects were created a few years ago when the player wasnt eligible and their pages havent been changed……that might be the reason why it says not eligible on their profiles…..
cedi osman & grayson allen, also have uneligible on their pages….
