Gary Harris

If I'm drafting this year I'm considering him top 5 and if he continues his play right now I'll even place him top 3 this year.

I've watched every single game and his progression is absolutely insane. The confidence he has gained from last year with his stroke and creating shots is that of a NBA vet.

Outside of Parker, Harris is the most offensively ready player there is in this draft. He knocks down the 3 with ease. Gets by his defender as if they are standing still. He is so fluid with all his movements.

BUT the thing that I believe that may make him top 3 is his defense. He LOCKS down anyone he plays against. He is averaging 2 steals a game. Yet when you watch the game it feels like he averages 5 because he is always tipping the ball away.

He is the complete package. Offense and Defense. Wiggins, Exum, Smart all have potential but Harris has it now.

I can't wait to see the next step in his game. I really think he can become more than just a starter in the NBA.

I have right outside the top

I have right outside the top 5 at number 6. Very Bradley Beal like. Shooter that's not just a shooter. Might not have the star potential like the top 5 but he fits the bill when it comes to a SG prospect. Here's my order.

1.Embiid

2.Wiggins

3.Parker

4.Randle

5.Exum

6.Gary Harris

I like him better then Smart as a prospect because I don't see Smart as a PG at the next level.

You have Exum in front of him

You have Exum in front of him even after seeing Gary Harris' progression from Freshmen year to Sophomore. He isn't even the top dog on his team. Appling has that role. I think if Harris wanted to he could put up Kevin Durant #'s (scoring wise not rebound) from Texas days.

He's a PG the same way OJ

He's a PG the same way OJ Mayo is... which means he's not, but I like him as well, just not top 5. He'll have a solid NBA career but doesn't have the star potential I think Exum and Smart have and that's typically what GMs fall in love with. Crazy to think that he'll be the first Michigan State player to leave early since Shannon Brown.

I think combine #'s will show

I think combine #'s will show he is 6'5 maybe even 6'6 with shoes. But is wingspan will allow him to play the 2 in the NBA. No way I would ever consider him to play the 1. He is 100% tall enough to guard any 2 in the league.

He won't add up to be 6'5 on

He won't add up to be 6'5 at the combine. I'm thinking 6'4 and a 6'8 winhspand.

Gary Harris deserves more

Gary Harris deserves more love on a national scale. His last game against Michigan, he was making people look silly. He can catch and shoot, pull up off the dribble, cross over and take it to the rim, and finish almost anything. He plays the passing lanes as well as any player I've seen at the college level, and I've been watching basketball for years. He is without a doubt the top dog on the Spartans, Appling is the senior leader, but everyone knows that Gary is the man. This team is final four bound if everyone is healthy.

I think he could definitely

I think he could definitely be one of the under the radar stars of the draft, but personall I would not take him over Embiid, Parker, Randle, Smart, or Wiggins. I think he and Exum will duke it out for #6. There really is no way I feel he could go over Embiid or Parker at this point, but the in regards to the other 3 its possible but IMO unlikely. Either way, I think whatever team ends up with him will be pretty happy.
