Obviously, you hate to hear when someone dies in an accident like this, but the reason it's even more significant to me is because I just read about who he was yesterday. During the thread about the Jazz drafting Dominique Wilkins, I did some research on the Hawks in the early 80's and saw his name on the roster. I didn't know who he was, so I did some research on him and then I look up today, and see he drowned. Crazy.

Yeah it is eerie that he some

Yeah it is eerie that he some how came up in that thread about Utah drafting Dominique Wilkens, the other day..And Wilkens has always said thru the years, that Roundfield showed him not only how to conduct himself as a nba player, but also how to act like a man...Im a basketball Junkie and old enuff to remember seeing him play, but it was toward the end of his career..Former Atlanta coach and NBA Hall of Famer Hubie Brown,1 of the best minds in basketball...Has always spoken highly about Roundfield, saying he had to been the most underrated defensive player in nba history...Not many people know that he was All 2nd Team NBA in 1979 and a 3 time all star...
