lebrons in the nba playoffs practicing new shots at the buzzer of a crucial game 3. Full speed running out of bounds one handed bank shot 15 foot floater for the win. Throw in some giant step back fadeaways, Lebron can do no wrong against Toronto, cannot wait to see how he adjusts against Brad Stevens next round!

Raps never had a chance. Cavs comfort level is through the roof. Everything is falling for them and they get all the calls not because the NBA is rigged but because of the teams body langauge and the fact that they dont attack the refs on every play. On the other side Toronto is scrambling doing everything they possibly can to lose in the last play and Dwayne Casey was probably the teams hardest worker running up and down the sidelines screaming to his players and the refs. They should honestly feel ashamed they look stupid out there.

Derozan +/- -23 for the game in only a two point loss, courtesy of that benching at the start of the 4th.

Casey looked a bit pathetic to me all game. Running up and down the sidelines pleading and crying for calls. That is what LBJ does to you, turns you into a sobbering mess. I don’t think I have ever seen a player totally dismantle and humiliate an orgaisation like this before.

Harsh post but Toronto are about to get swept as a #1 seed to one of Lebrons least powerful teams in the last 10 years.

Raps should make some major trades, get rid of Ibaka or Jonas, and get rid of one of Lowry Or Derozan

Unfortunately that looks like what they’ll have to do if they want to get over the hump. Even if Lebron leaves the East next year, Boston should have a healthy Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward to add to Al Horford, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Terry Rozier. I don’t like their odds against a healthy Boston next year or in the years to come.

Philly, Milwaukee, Indiana, Miami, Washington, and maybe even a lower team like Detroit aren’t gonna make it easy for Toronto either

The east is so weak. Their number 1 seed is being man handled. Boston is doing it without Irving and Hayward.
The only team that played with heart was the Pacers. Who quiet honestly played fearless. They bowed to no man. Yet Toronto is folding like a cheap lawn chair and taking a knee. Geez. Who ever comes out of the east is going to get slapped around by the west like a red headed stepchild.

Yeah I think at this point Toronto has to blow it up.. Derozan and Lowry are just too one dimensionnal IMO, they won’t win with 2 of these guys.. They are in the same position Atlanta was a couple years ago, had great seasons, even more talent but just couldn’t get over the hump so they blew up the team.. Not sure if Toronto should do that, but I would start considering it with Boston and Philly rising..

for next year. I believe "Blowing it Up!" would be a HUGE mistake

Why blow it up??? Toronto had the Best record in the East. They have an excellent 10 man rotation filled w/ Veterans.

Toronto is Never going to attract a Max Free Agent of the level needed to built a Championship team like say the Lakers or Celtics or Heat can do

So why not continue w/ this Excellent Group – Honestly – how many NBA teams could beat this Toronto squad 4X in 2 weeks??? Lebron, Golden State & MAYBE Houston???

Lebron is getting older, injuries occur, teams get Bored from winning. In other words, you just Never know but even if the Raptors Never win a Title they have a 60 win team & that city has an outstanding team to watch the whole season

I think a coaching change may be in order. Not that I don’t think Casey hasn’t done an excellent job because he has. However, Casey is a good regular season coach and not a good playoff coach. There is a difference. Casey does a great job establishing a system and rotation that will put his team in position to win on most nights over the course of an 82 game season. However, in a playoff series, where things get chaotic and you are required to make adjustments on the fly, Casey too often fails to make the proper adjustments. He’ll either be too conservative and stick to what is familiar or lean too far in the other direction and try something that the team doesn’t have the personnel for or isn’t prepared to execute. It happens on a yearly basis.

Letting go of Casey would obviously be a huge risk. He’s established a winning culture and is easily the most successful coach the franchise has had. I just think it may be a necessary risk to take in order to find out if the team as constructed really has the personnel to break through. I’m not sure it will ever happen with him coaching.

Yeah thats pretty much it. Im watching it right now. Ibaka needed a breather so for whatever reason Casey subs in Nogeiura to matchup with Love. He hasnt played all series and was lost on both ends of the floor. Lucas Nogeiura in 2 minutes went -10 with a foul and a turnover no other stats.OG even tried shoving him into position on defense.Timeout, game over, no coming back from that decision.

He did it throughout the season as well with the personnel statement you made. Wanted Miles to be a stretch PF when they have Ibaka and OG. Lost a game against Boston matching up Miles on Morris. Has Miles gaurd Scott and Morris against Washington which is why they torched us. Keeps making bad decisions to be honest. Needs to play OG Anunoby and Siakam as much as he can because those are the teams best defenders but he keeps going away from them.

      Whatever.
