I guess we’ll see if any good comes out of this type of enforcement. Personally I think it’s worth trying, I’ve always been annoyed with players overexaggerating contact to avoid playing defense. However this might start giving an upper hand to more physical players and some finesse might be lost in the game…
Would it be possible to call personal fouls on a player who obviously flops (similar to in soccer)?
What do you all think? Good idea/bad idea/indifferent? Or is there another route the NBA should have taken?
