MatosParticipantEmbiid is already at legendary status. Going to enjoy him in this city for years to come.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantI hope your right…let’s see if he can stay healthy

goddagParticipantHe should consentrate on playing a full season before he talks smack. It would mean more.

ChoppyParticipantHe’s already done more in this league that Lavar ever did. Therefore, in my book he can smack talk Lavar all he wants. What has Lavar done to earn the right to smack talk?

llperezEmbid started it. I don’t care what lavar has or hasn’t done, when someone calls you out you have the right to fire back.

ChoppyParticipantI agree. But this is a smack talking league. Everyone does it. And those thin skinned Lavar supporters bagging Embiid for trolling Lavar by saying "play a full season first" are completely nonsensical. Grow a pair.

llperezi dont have any problem with guys talking smack either. But when you say "who is lavar to respond to someone who calls him out and talks shit" i shake my head.

ChoppyParticipantI basically only said that in response to people criticising Embiid for not playing a full season in the NBA so he shouldn’t comment. I was merely trying to point out that Lavar has done even less. Of course he should respond. I have no problem with that.

Jr. ROXASParticipantI can feel the Lavar hate in you through my PC lol. You can’t just say "what right does Lavar have to respond" if Embiid’s silly and immature tweet that he copied from Ben Simmon’s sister started it all. Of course Lavar would respond.
And again if you ask me, Embiid’s being really immature here. "Please dunk on him so hard that his daddy runs to the court and saves him". Wtf is that?? I don’t care if you’re young, you’re a proffesional, and you should be able to surpress yourself from making a stupid tweet to someone who did nothing wrong to you. Imagine the backlash if Lebron or Durant tweeted this out. Sonner or later, he will get his fair share of haters, and his immaturity will be the main argument for the hate.

ChoppyParticipantYes, the Lavar hate flows strong in this one! I personally think that he is the epitome of what is wrong (or worst case scenario) with organised sport. To say I detest him and everything he represents is not too far off the mark.

SlickBouncePassParticipantRelying on Free Agency…
I hope Lonzo makes an impact so we get pick 6, but I am pretty sure we’ll get screwed again, the Lakers will have the 2nd worst record in the league behind Brooklyn starring "D’angelo"…and Boston somehow ends up with the top 2 picks in the draft.
Its a Philly and Boston show with the Lakers well behind unless they somehow get Lebron and George next year.
Philly is making the playoffs while the Lakers are at the bottom of the West, again, this time behind the Suns.

Ahkasi ClayParticipantWho thought the Lakers could become a even Bigger joke than what they already are?
