A few questions about the 76ers
Let me say this 1st ET and Jrue Holiday are going to be great players for years to come
Do they make a trade at the deadline??? No
Do they make a push for the 8th spot or tank for a high draft pick(Miami owns their pick if they make the playoffs) Play hard develop Holiday as leader no tanking just play hard
Does Andrew Bynum play a game for the 76ers this year or did we get screwed out of Iggy, Vucevic, Harkless and a draft pick? I think he play like 26 games this season
Is their any chance Bynum comes back and we can pair him with another Forward, someone under the radar like Bargnani or even Al Horford??? yes Spencer hawes and Bynum
Would you accept a trade for Bargnani if we get Terrence Ross too? yess if I were the sixers but doubt the raptors would
Would the Raptors take Spencer Hawes, Jason Ricardson and our 2012 pick for Bargnani and Ross???
No lets face it the raptors are not winning the championship in next 2 years so why not just let Bargnani contract run out instead of packaging him with a guy with alot potential in Ross
I think both teams are better of not making a move
Holiday - Calderon
Turner - Ross
Young - DeRozan
Hawes - Davis
Bynum - Valancunis
Only way they trade him is within a superstar type of deal. And I really don't see anything remotely like that coming their way. Ross is probably the biggest sleeper of that draft, and the Raptors may have a gem there (they knew it all along). I think I would move Derozan before Ross right now. But that ain't going to happen either.
I don't see the Sixers making any significant trades. The only real valuable player they have outside of Holiday and Turner is Thad Young but Collins loves his skills and effort so I doubt they move him.
Even if Bynum plays 26 games it will be irrelevant he still isn't under contract for next year. Nobody in their right mind wants to give him a max deal so maybe the Sixers can sign him cheaper but I don't know if he will be back or not. The way Vucevic has played this year I would much rather have him and Harkless over half a season of Bynum. That doesn't even factor in Iggy who the Sixers really miss...especially on D. I still think they should have moved Iggy but they should have moved him for young healthy talent and draft picks to set themselves up better for the future. Trading for Bynum with only one year one his deal makes no sense and now that he is injured they look extra dumb.
I don't see them making the playoffs the way it sits now. They haven't been consistent on offense or defense. Last year they couldn't score but they were at least going to defend and keep themselves in games. They will have a lot of issues to address this offseason but it appears they will be keeping their first round pick at least.
