valentineSo far these playoffs have been a dud, nobody besides Cleveland is a title contender. Tor/Mia has been ugly to watch. No Curry, Blazers aren’t a threat to win a title. OKC/SA has been the only good series this playoffs. So let’s talk about some our favorite playoff series. Here are some of mine
Chi/Bos – 09: No KG for Boston which helped Chicago push this to 7 games. There were multiple multi OT games, countless crazy shots, Rose as a rookie looking like a top 10 player.
The entire 2014 Western conference 1st rd: 3 of the 4 first rd series went 7 games. Top seed SA battling with Dallas, OKC/Mem was a back and forth street fight, Clippers topple the Warriors (crazy to think now), Blazers bounce Rockets in game 6 with a Lilard game winner 3. 2014 was one of the best years for NBA.
2013 NBA finals: SA/Mia: 7 games of back and forth between two evenly matched teams. Ray Allen’s 3 in the corner is an all time great play in history.
Mia/Bos EC finals – 12: Another 7 game series, Miami starts off winning the first 2, Boston lead by prime Rondo who got triple doubles like nothing won the next 3, he even had 44 point game in the series. Miami was looking frail and on the road in Boston, LeBron has a monster game 6 and Miami rallied back to win. Gotta love Boston at the end of their run giving it their all and playing so great.
what are your favorites?

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantLA-sac 2002. This series had everything you could possibly ask for and definitely my favorite of all-time. Two teams that genuinely didn’t like each other, physical play, great individual performances, clutch shots, officiating scandals, etc. Plus of course the Lakers advancing to the finals and winning their third ring in a row.
Some other notables include:
Chi- Ind 1998
LA-Portland 2000
Houston- Phoenix 1995
SA-dallas 2006
Toronto-philly 2001

Hype MachineThese playoffs have been a dud, but I’m liking this duel between Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant.
My favourite series all time is Bulls Celtics in 2009.
No less than 7 overtime periods.

ZouldiersParticipantI agree with most of them especially the ones involving Miami but I’ll add the Clippers-Spurs series in 2015. A 7 game series between two evenly matched teams. It was a back and forth series that culminated with a CP3 buzzer to beat the Spurs. That game was also on the same day as that Mayweather-Pacquiao fight so the game was a lot bigger than it seems. Some would say that the Clippers-Spursgame was more of a fight than Pacquiao-Mayweather and it is.

ThenilonatorParticipantI agree with dazzling dunks call of the raptors v 76ers in 2001. Vince and A.I at the height of their games, not the typical great ball work and team work we’ve become use to seeing of late but more like a one on one street ball battle between 2 of the most entertaining players of all time. I still remember the game in that series where A.I was presented with the MVP award and at the end of his acceptance speech he said “let’s get this party started” and went on to torch the raptors! Great entertainment!
