My favorite NCAA moment was when the bruins beat Gonzaga in the sweet 16 and ended adam morrisons college career with him rolling around on the court. UCLA were a 2 seed, but most considered them the underdog in that game and it was the first time they made a deep run in the tournament in like a decade.

    My faovrite NBA moments are:

The Robert Horry shot against the kings. I hated the kings and i was watching that game with kings fans and without that shot, no way the lakers win that series.

Nick Van Exel hits game winner aginst spurs in 1995 second round. The lakers were a young group and the game meant so much more to me back then when i was a young buck.

Lakers beat celtics this past year. Best title only becasue it was really a relief to not have to go down 0-2 to the celtics. Think about how that series would have crushed the lakers and Kobe. People would be saying the 2009 title was irrelevant becasue the celtics werent healthy and the celtics own the lakers. People would be saying the celtics are the greatest franchise ever. People would be saying you can never compare kobe to magic becasue magic beat the celtics and dont even bring up the mj comparisons. People on this site would be killing me. That title was a huge sigh of relief more then a celebration.

Back in 2007 when the suns were rolling with Amare Marion Nash Barbosa etc Gilbert came into town dropped 54 in double OT

Gilbert dropped 60pts on Kobe the game was great but Kobe’s comments after were hilarious he said something like he jacked up shots it was funny lol

When Tmac dropped 13pts in 55sec it was amazing and for him to hit the game winning three and show all that emotion it was great

SN: Kevin Hart is on comdey central new stand up its in Cleveland and Lebrons there lol

I really enjoyed watching Kansas lose to my Panthers this year.

This being said, it didn’t feel good to see those guys cry, and I think Sherron Collins tried to eat away the pain….

I have to say when Magic won the MVP Award of the 1992 AllStar Game…That was so electrifying…He had the expression on his face that a kid would have if someone told the kid he can go into Toy-R-Us and have anything he wanted..

Another time was watching the Original Dream Team….

A personal moment was in 2000 when i played basketball at a Jr. college in Ohio..i went home for the summer..And The guy who was then the coach at my old High School asked me if i would be interested in playing in an Alumni game against some Celebs..So myself and some Alumni members from my old High School ..Played actor Larenz Tate & his brothers Lahmad & Larron and a couple of their celeb friends a celebrity game at my old High School in Greenville Ms. ..Ol Dog was kool…He didnt try to act stuckup at all…But We beat their butts ..Becuz most of them were constantly talking to the girls in the crowd…

My favorite NCAA moment was when George Mason shocked everybody and made it to the ncaa semifinals and shoked everybody including me because I had Uconn winning the title that year and george mason beat them in the elite 8

NBA: Even though we didnt win 2003 when derek fisher hit that shot in the spurs i was very excited and i didnt even think it was phycially possible to shoot 0.4 seconds I was super stoked but we still lost that series.

Also when Magic Johnson came back from Hiv and won MVp bet all star game in history in my opinion.

T-mac scored 13points in 35 seconds seconds I was actualy watching that game electrifying

My favorite moment as a player was win we were in the playoffs and we were down by three I drove to the basket and got the and 1 and we won the game we were suppose to get demolished but we won we lost the next round but I was happy with our run I had 30 points that game.

    NBA

    – Watching John Paxson hit that shot in game six vs the Suns in 1993 lol. I don’t know why, but that shot had me outside shooting three’s. I was like 7 at the time.

    – Reggie vs the Knicks… 8 points in 8.9 seconds.

    – When Reggie pushed Jordan in 1998 and hit that game winner. The Pacers didn’t win the series, but that was a big moment for me.

    – When the Pacers made it the the 2000 NBA Finals. We didn’t win, but still… It was a big moment.

    College

    – Jason Gardner and Arizona going to the NCAA Finals in 2001. They lost to Duke, but I was a big fan of Gardner, Arenas, Walton, Wright and Woods… Edgerson off of the bench lol.

    – IU going to the NCAA Finals in 2002… Didn’t win (seems like Indiana never wins the major chip), but it was still a big moment.

    High School

    – When Jason Gardner led North Central to 4A State Title in 1999. HUGE for my high school.

    Middle School

    – Being a snotty nosed 6th grader… Jason Gardner, an alumni from my middle school, told me I had a chance to be good if I worked on my game. Meant A LOT at the time coming from him. He was the first freshman to make varsity at our high school.

    – Allen Iverson scoring over Tyronne Lue then stepping over him.
    – Bruce Bowen’s defense getting him an elbow to the head from a frustrated Michael Finley.
    – Seeing the Clippers beat the Lakers this season live. Being the only Clipper fan in my section during a Clippers home game.
-My own moment: Playing garbage time and scoring my first ever points in 8th grade.

When Lebron dropped 25 straight against the Pistons that was the best individual performance I’ve watched live. Also watching the 2008 Dream Team take home the gold against Spain was great also

Lol yea I was a freshman in 1999. You sound like my little brother… Like I tell him, you’re going to get old too! He’s turning 22 on the 13th, so I can’t wait to rub that in. When I turned 22, that’s all I heard was old jokes.

I’ma have to ask to see your ID buddy…

    T-Mac dunk on Shawn Bradley.

Rockets 22 Game Winning Streak & beating the Lakers for that precious 22nd victory. Rafer went off!!

Yao Ming bumping knees in Game 1 against L.A, coming back, & leading us to victory..
When he walked off, I laid on my bed and cried..then he came back, man those tears were erased with joy.

Aaron Brooks alley-oop from halfcourt against L.A

Carl Landry game-saving block against Utah Jazz.

Yao Ming chasedown block against Steve Blake.

LeBron making The Palace his new home as he dropped 25 straight against the Pistons

LeBron dunking on Tim Duncan in the 07 Finals. Sick!

Yao Ming hitting that 3 against Team USA

Allen Iverson lit up my Rockets and we lost. 42 I think? & 11..I honestly don’t remember, we lost 116-?? I can’t remember, but it was my first game & Iverson was my favorite player so it was a win-win for me. Rockets were my fave team

Mario Chalmers 3 vs. Memphis! I hated D.Rose in college

Man, alot of Rocket moments okay!? 😀 Haha.
& I too am watching Kevin Hart

    NCAA Moments:

Watching George Mason’s Final Four run. I love seeing the underdog — especially a team like George Mason — come out on top.

The Texas vs. Oklahoma State battles during Kevin Durant’s only season of college basketball.

Mario Chalmers’ clutch shot during the 2008 Championship game.

I know this probably doesn’t count as an NCAA moment, but Nike Battlegrounds was an amazing show. I remember actually wanting to do my homework during middle school so I could watch it.

    NBA Moments:

Anytime I got to see Jordan play.

Watching the Knicks make the NBA Finals as an 8-seed.

Seeing Eddie Jones play. For some reason, I was obsessed with him as a kid.

Watching Kerry Kittles and Keith Van Horn, then being the first one to tell my friends, who were all Knick fans, about them.

    Personal Moments:

Making the game-winning 3-point shot in the “Campers vs. Counselors” game during 7th grade basketball camp after being told for the entire duration of camp by the counselors that I couldn’t shoot threes because I was “too big.”

Going off for 34 points, 10-10 from three and 4-4 from the line, during a rec league game a couple of years ago.

6th grade basketball camp at Fairleigh Dickinson University. My favorite moment at camp was when I poked the ball away while playing low post defense, then I dived on the ground and saved the ball from going out of bounds. When we called time-out, my coach — who was also the starting point guard for FDU — rubbed my head and said, “Good sh*t, man; way to hustle.” I know it doesn’t sound like much, but I’ll never forget that.

Playing against and with James “Speedy” Williams this winter. He’s pushing 40 (if he isn’t past it already) but he was still busting ass in the half-court. He repeatedly scored in an effortless fashion by blowing by yours truly off the dribble, then hanging in the air and laying it in. I was expecting the speed, but the two things about him that really amazed me were his strength and his personality. He was the first person I had ever met that I couldn’t post up, and he was a really nice guy. He was loud and he had a mouth that ran at a million miles an hour if you started talking trash, but he was very humble.

personal fav: this coach came into a basketball camp i was at. he was a college coach for some school, dont remember. and when he left, he told me that i had a lot of potential or sumthin, like i can be a really really good player if i put the tools together, i was the only guy he told that 2, and i he added i believe i had something in me that some guys dont have, dont exactly make out the words, felt really good though.
