but why

is there a bidding war for Tyson. This reminds me of when a Guy has a great season the Super Bowl Champ & gets some serious$$$$$ based on the system he played in & the players around him.

also

Is this an Elite Front Court with Melo/Amare/Tyson? Can this Core group of Guy's bring home a Chip?

Chandler - Amare - Melo -

Chandler - Amare - Melo - Fields - Billups

That would look like a formiddable contender for the EFC.

Who will be passing the ball

Who will be passing the ball to these guys? They can only get Chandler if they amnesty Billups.

Billups is being amnest cut

Billups is being amnesty cut if they land Tyson FYI. I'm honestly shocked the Mavs haven't tried resigning any of their players the way they've spent uselessly in years past. I honestly thought Cuban would at least reward Tyson for changing the mindset in Dallas.

No team will be able to

No team will be able to absorb his contract without sending something back. Amnesty for him. Turiaf will probably be paired with cash and Fields/Douglas to a under the cap team.

Billups is probably on his way to MSG right now to bust some heads. He's going to end up in somewhere like Minny or Washington. He does not deserve that.

Sac has to get to the floor

of the salary cap which i believe is 49mill. If they can find a trade partner that would set them up to use amnesty this summer in their pursuit of CP

Tysons biggest value lies in

Tysons biggest value lies in his relationship with cp3 and this move allows the knicks to send amare to new orleans for paul

I would love to see that happen

I hate Paul whining his way to a trade to the Knicks, but A'mare getting traded to the Hornets would be hilarious! The guy signed with NY to begin the process of bringing a contender to the Knicks last summer. He makes New York a place guys want to play and they flip him to the only team without an owner or significant talent...I like this more cuz STAT is the punk who insisted that the players don't need the NBA and that idea prolonged the lockout unnecessarily when everyone knows the owners had all the leverage. Do it, Knicks, you have my support and you'd be a better team for it.

I still for some reason don't

I still for some reason don't think amare is leaving. In all honesty, I don't think Amare is what NOH is going to want for Paul. No young talent and an INJURY PRONE big with a bloated contract? Doubtful. I really don't think this deal is ANY better than that of Pau Gasol, which isn't very good in itself.

Why do we keep saying Amare

Why do we keep saying Amare is injury prone. He blew his knee out once(ok i see some concern there) and had a freak injury in a detatched retina. That is it. He has proved to be durable and an elite big man. Yes, he leaves something to be desired on defense and rebounding. Lets be real though, there are only 2 PF's in the league that constantly get you 25ppg and 9rpg. One just was the MVP of the finals and the other one is Amare.

That being said, I don't think Amare is going anywhere. You don't get rid of scorers like him. they would be better off moving Melo if anything.

Ummm..probably because Amare

Ummm..probably because Amare has developed a reocurring back injury that has derailed many injuries before him, and kept him from doing ANYTHING in the playoffs this year.

According to Stoudemire, his

According to Stoudemire, his back is 100% and he's now 6' 11" because of it.

Got his measurements today and he says he's 6' 11", 260 lbs and only 7% body fat. That's unreal. Monster.

He probably threw his back

He probably threw his back out carrying the Knicks most of the year. lol. He is my favorite player and I am going to defend him. He didn't miss much time with his back and hasn't missed much time for a few years except for a detatched retina, which i don't think you can consider as an injury you will continue to get.

If Chandler goes to the

If Chandler goes to the Knicks and they do amnesty Billups then they could perhaps try for an S and T for CP3 next summer. I wonder if Dallas might even do an S and T for Chandler with the Knicks sending a nominal piece there. They could get nothing for Chandler and he could easily go to an Eastern Conference team.

Billups would only stay one year on a lottery team if they picked up his contract and he could make noises like he would only play for certain teams and so get back on a contender sooner rather than later.
