valentineWas bummed my Celts ain’t get a top two pick. I was very sceptical of bender. But for some reason I’m starting to like him. Maybe it was the video where he destroyed sabonis. I think he can be good
Celtics don’t need a guard. Beside cousin I would not trade the pic . just roll the dice with bender. Trade Bradley and other pics for a center

There are plenty of good centers in FA…Horford, Whiteside, Howard, Gasol, Noah, Biyombo, Ezeli,… you can have a good frontline with one of those and Bender and a nice backcourt that you already have, just sign another shooter at the wing and that’s it, easily top 3-4 in the east.
The lone reason why you’d do a trade is to get rid of those picks, absolutely no use of 8 picks in a single draft. If you like multiple players, 3-4 picks is more than enough.

bigjah8ParticipantWhat is bender’s status on next season? Will he be coming to the NBA right away because I have heard otherwise before. In my opinion Celtics don’t need a long term project who may not play from day one on this playoff team. Trading makes the best sense to me and if you can’t work that out idk
