i think he can be a poor man’s manu ginobili if he works even more on his shooting..he has great size , nice skills and a hard-to-find poise for the game…he may have some athletic shortcomings but a late manu isn’t so explosive as a leaper or on drive and he has great success

i am 100% sure he does not have martin’s stroke yet and k-mart is 20ppg+ scorer in a borderline play-off team

I’ve never seen him play so I don’t have a great idea of how to compare him.

In the clips I’ve seen about him and the profiles I’ve been reading I don’t really know what tot hink about the guy. I feel people might be overrating him because according to most he is the highest rated European and there aren’t any Euros with a real high grade this draft.

IMO Satoransky is better but I’ve only seen a few of his games so I don’t really have much to go on I suppose.

leads him to be a very "un-european" player. He likes to slash and drive. His jumpshot is a major weakness in his game.

I haven’t seen too much of him but maybe Evan Turner? Similar measurements, athleticism is solid not great, both can handle and create for others, better going to the rim than shooting from otuside though Fournier’s form is much more "conventionally sound" than Turner if that makes any difference.  Fournier’s still very young so with his good shooting form it’s possible he’ll become a decent or better shooter.

From the youtube videos I’ve seen, he’s a little bit like a perimeter-oriented version of Antawn Jamison; he really likes the in-between game. He doesn’t need to get all the way to the rim, he does a lot of jump-stopping, pump faking, up-and-unders, he’s really good with little floaters, runners, and these like odd little toss shots. It’s kind of unconventional and unorthodox, and the only player like that I can think of is Jamison, but more the current Jamison than the 23-year-old Jamison of yesteryear. He’s also only 19. He’s got good body control and you have to love players with a nose for the paint, but he doesn’t really scream potential superstar.

I’m not sure the Evan Turner one works.  Fournier looks like he has a lot of work to do on his body, and isn’t very physical.  Turner is a physically strong player who rebounds exceptionally well for his position and is an ok defensiver player as well.  Maybe they are similar in how they score their points tho I’m not sure as I have only seen short clips of the Frenchman..

How about Mike Dunleavy Jr., prolly a better athlete and definintly a better finisher at the rim.  However I see a lot of the same similarities in what they seem to be able to offer a team.

19 on 44 from threepoint land (43%) and currently playing very impressive basketball. The Nuggets need him with Ty and Gallo out and he’s been producing:

14.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1.3 threes, 21-38 from the field (55%) and 10-10 from the FT line (100%) in 21 minutes off the bench in his last 4 games. (Nuggets went 4-0 in those last four)

He has played 92 minutes in his last 4 after playing 214 minutes in his previous 29 appearances.
