Mr. 19134ParticipantRealistic nowadays is whatever the salary cap agrees too because some teams make crazy trades as a sixers fan I never saw the Dalembert for Hawes and Nocioni trade coming and just look at the Knick trade last year at the deadline. I feel that Iggy and Brand to the Nuggets for Kmart and JR Smith is a very realistic trade…It gives Melo a worthy sidekick and current Olympian, and also the Nuggets get low post scoring. Believe it or not Brand will still average more on the block the Kenyon or Nene. And The Sixers get expiring contracts and a shooting guard who can shoot lights out and dunk that aint 25 yet. He’ll fit perfect wit Jrue, Evan, and Thad.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI made many realistic ones but here’s one I love
Vince Carter, Ryan Anderson and a 1st round pick to Detroit for Richard Hamilton, Charlie Villanueva and Austin Daye
Orlando- They get Rip, who when healthy could provide 16ppg and 5 rpg. Villaneuva is a solid combo forward who off the bench could cause mismatch problems with his shooting on big men and his post game with big men.
Detroit- You get another 1st round pick to rebuild with and you add Vince Carter, who’s in a contract season ( 18 mil team option)

——————————————————————————————————————————————Frankly I’m not sure why Orlando would package a first and Ryan Anderson in this deal. The pistons are in rebuilding mode and should be more than happy with the fact that we are taking two big contracts (and clear mistakes) over the next three years off their hands.

jdstormParticipanti had detroit in a few separate deals using their cap space to trade for Tmac, shaq and either the number 5 or 7 pick which they were going to use on steph curry.
would have been a good trade too. detroit would have had miami level cap room, with stephen curry, and all those 2nd round guys dumars is good at finding.
40 million cap space would have got you a lot last summer

jdstormParticipantWhen everybody was trying to work out how to get chris paul to NY.
NY Recieved
Chris Paul and James Posey
New Orleans recieved
Zac Randolph, eddy curry, and either Anthony randolph or danillio Galinari. also get cash and maybe a first rounder
Memphis recieves
Emeka okafur, raymond felton and either Randolph or Galinari
i thought that this was reasonable, if chris paul really wanted to leave
