cabbycabParticipantAlthough I’m not particularily a fan of his, I’m impressed with Wall’s numbers. In particular his FG% is better than I expected since young shooting PGs ( like Jennings ) tend to have horrible % initially.
Favors seems to be doing well in limited minutes. Once he matures, he can be as good as any of the guys on that list.

HaleParticipantI have not watched Cousins play this year. Is he having foul problems or is he out of shape? I expected more than 22 mpg. He is producing quite well in them from the stats above.

BasketBalAllanParticipantHe is having foul problems and has a hard time matching up on D. But he is only 20 so that should get better with experience and age.

bdoody42ParticipantCousins also need to get his shooting percentage up from 41%.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantI wouldn’t be concerned with low shooting percentages of rookie big men early on, especially with guys who play below the rim. It is a steep learning curve because they aren’t used to facing the size and athleticism like this every night. So when Cousins, Monroe, and Pekovic are shooting surprisingly low percentages and getting a lot of shots blocked, it is more or less normal. If they don’t learn and catch on as they year goes on, it might be worrisome. Not this early though.

stanford hoopsyeah cousins stays in foul trouble. Not really suprised with wall as far as shooting percentages because its higher then some may suspect because of his layups/fast breaks. His midrange and three are about where i figured it would be
