ChicagoCaseyParticipantThis site wouldn’t let me post a link to the article, but the artcle is on the front page of the ESPN Recruiting Nation page.
Thoughts
- I was suprised that Harry Giles had way more votes as Josh Jackson as the top propsect in the Nation. I not that shocked that Harry Giles is ranked number one even though I would go with Josh Jackson because I love his combination of athleticism, passing ability, motor, defensive ability, and overall upside.
- Thon Maker got himself a few fans. He had the second most first place votes in the rankings and im not mad at that. He dominated the summer and he have great measurements.
- De’Aaron Fox finally getting some love. I have De’Aaron Fox as the number one prospect (only if Malik Monk plays the 2). I love his defensive insticts, improves jumpshot, and balanced game.
- Jonathan Isaac and Wenyan Gabriel have some fan fair. One college coach voted Jonathan Isaac as the number one prospect and one coach would rank Wenyan Gabriel as the number 4 prospect if he made the rankings. Both are extremely skilled for their respective sizr
- Malik Monk continues to impress. IMO Malik Monk had the best spring/summer. He had a great Nike Global Challenge where he was the best player by far in a group filled with De’Aaron Fox, Jonathan Isaac, Miles Bridges, and plenty more elite players. He was the best player at the 8 in Vegas where Jayson Tatum was his teammate. And he had a monster eybl season. I believe he can transition to a full time prospect and become an even more elite prospect.
- Some top guys that didn’t make the cut were Lonzo Ball, Kobi Simmons, Terrance Ferguson, T.J Leaf, Rawles Altkins, and Marques Bolden.

ChicagoCaseyParticipantNot according to these coaches and me. And I find it pretty funny that you said "clear".

Jr. ROXASParticipantGood for you if you find it funny lol. Still the CLEAR cut number 1 point guard prospect to me.

ChicagoCaseyParticipantYou never said "to me". You basically said "it’s clear as day who’s the best point guard and everyone knows it’s Dennis Smith"
I fount it funny because he’s not "clearly" the best point guard.

Jr. ROXASParticipantWell of course it’s "to me", it’s my opinion, do I really need to type that out for you? Lol. Fox is super left hand dominant. When he does drive right, he launches up awkward shots. He’s good but Smith’s better. NBA ready body, strong handles, and game-changing athleticsm. He jumps off two feet higher than any point guard I’ve seen, on par with Rose. And he has a good shot and good poise.
