gregoden08ParticipantAnd only 1 turnover! That’s the main thing for him. He is a very talented player, but he needs to limit his turnovers to be an effective pg in this league.

JNixonParticipantHe also needs to show that he’s actually a PG. And that he can make the right plays off the dribble.

FastAndFuriousParticipantIggy he’ll be ok, let him get comfortable, long as he doesn’t force anything and keep doing what he do that’ll be good enough for now.

ilike.panochasParticipantI actually thought Willie Warren was a better player and has the higher ceiling than Bledsoe because he has better size and has the same quickness and athletecism as Bledsoe. I still feel the same way, I just hope they give Warren a chance as well, although hes more of a SG than Bledsoe.

TC_42ParticipantOn another game note, the Thunder’s offense looks god awful.
Four of the starting five are shooting under 40% on the season.

ilike.panochasParticipantYou must not have seen Warren at Oklahoma, the guy was the best athlete in Big 12 last year. His signature tomohawk dunks are nasty for a 6’3 guard. Trust me he is just as athletic as Bledsoe, if not even more athletic.

gregoden08ParticipantWillie Warren isn’t as athletic as Bledsoe mess. Bledsoe is much quicker and probably is a better jumper as well.

FastAndFuriousParticipantTell 6’4 Warren to top this 6’0.5 PG dunking though the lane off a hop step stop playing Warren is athletic but not as athletic as Bledsoe.

ilike.panochasParticipantAnd this is based on what? Bledsoe’s dunks during "March Madness" exhibition? Warren is a much more impressive speciment considering hes 2-3 inch taller and 10-15lbs heavier and still matches Bledsoe’s athletecism and speed and quickness.

JNixonParticipantI tend to think Bledsoe is a better athlete than Warren too. Bledsoe is a raw player, but he is an explosive athlete. Warren is a good athlete, but hardly as explosive athletically or as fast as Bledsoe IMO.

gregoden08ParticipantUmmm this is based off the fact that Bledsoe could get into the lane whenever he wanted to in college and Warren couldn’t. Like I said, Bledsoe can also jump higher which is actually very obvious if you watched both of them play (which I assume you did). Warren never even penetrated last year he just settled for bad shots (so did Bledsoe but he was playing off of Wall).

FastAndFuriousParticipantIt was off a hop step, that’s extremley athletic and explosive for a 6’0 PG, and if Warren was more athletic than Bledsoe why isn’t he getting these minutes Bledsoe’s getting? They both are very raw at the PG spot, so neither one is the clear cut winner there, I bet bledsoe is playing better than Warren in practices.

ilike.panochasParticipantWarren is more than capable of penetrating whenever he wants to. Yes he has bad shot selection (which is one of the reason why he may not be an NBA PG unlike Bledsoe), but the guy is one of the best one on one player coming in the draft. I know everyone looks good on a highlight but check out this video from his fresman year and how he slices up the Kansas defense (which was a top 10 team that year)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJL6TB51PDs
The guy is a great penetrator when hes not settling for bad shots.

gregoden08ParticipantBut now we’re getting off topic. The point is Bledsoe is a better athlete. No real argument at all. Like Dave said, if Warren was a better athlete than he’d probably be getting more minutes because Bledsoe’s best tool right now is his athleticism.

FastAndFuriousParticipantWarren is such a great penetrator that Capel put him to the 2 guard and let Tommy Mason Griffin be the main PG, yes he is a great penetrator lol please man, if that was the case he would have stayed at the point even with mason griffin in the game, just how Bledsoe moved to the 2 to let John Wall the better penetrator take the 1 spot.
It’s really not close seriously Bledsoe is the better athlete of the 2, that’s why he is playing and Warren’s not

ilike.panochasParticipantJust a note, Warren has an injury right now I believe (groin) which is why hes hasnt played the last 2 games this season. And With Baron hurt, Bledsoe is first inline to get the minutes because hes the better PG than Warren. Like I said, Warren is more of a SG than Bledsoe.

LazarusMunozParticipantWarren has done some really good things in limited time hes gotten so far this year…he missed most of preseason with an injury and now that Del Negro is starting to go with more of a youth movement(and that Davis and Foye are injured) Warren is gonna get some burn
But man Bledso has been a revalation these last two games…Him and EJ just mesh so well and even though EBled is a lil out of control sometimes he pushes the tempo so well, something that Baron just couldnt figure out to do with this team

stanford hoopsof course both players at their best bdiddy hands down but the problem is davis hasnt been playing at his best. i would still start davis but id limit his minutes untill he gets the picture because he gives the team the best chance to win when hes playing well. if he still doesnt get the picture ill take his minutes down even more and even start eric over him
