GrandmamaParticipantBledsoe is starting tonight and is making the most of his opportunity. He has 5pts 2rbs 2asts 2stls after the first quarter. Baron Davis has a knee right now and Bledsoe is getting his chance. Davis may miss multiple games so Bledsoe might get a lot of minutes in the near future.

Mr. 19134ParticipantBledsoe played very well, but he only had 3 assists in 39 minutes and had Eric Gordon doing most of the playmaking which confirmed what i thought about his PG skills. If Bledsoe can’t pull court vision out of somewhere are get better passing skills, he will be a career back up. He is still a very dangerous player when he is on the court however. I thought he was going to be a Kyle Lowry type in the league and he looked every bit like that comparison tonight.

nascarforthedeadParticipantMr. 19134, I agree with you in a way. I think Bledsoe will have to work on his court vision but I don’t think the ball was put in Gordon’s hands most of the game because he’s a better creator for the offense. I think Gordon had the ball so much because this is only Bledsoe’s 2nd game as a Clipper. To ask him to run the offense all game on his own would be too much. Having watched Bledsoe in both highschool and college I know he can be an extremely effective passer and will eventually be more than a backup point guard. He just has a steep learning curve. People act like he can’t be a point because he didn’t play it in college but remember he played with John Wall in college(a player who hardly anyone would play point guard over.)

LazarusMunozParticipantActually as the game wore on Del Negro had Gordon play more pg. Gordon looked like a different player tonight,he did a really good job setting up the half court offense and ended up with like 11 or 12 assists. But i dont think Gordon is a great playmaker in transition
Im just glas Baron Davis wasnt out there…he’s looked horrible this year

durantula83ParticipantBledsoe did alright for his first start in his career. You can see he still needs time to adjust to being a real point guard but he’ll be fine eventually, he’s a smart kid. A shame Willie Warren only played 3 minutes in his season debut, with Davis out he should be getting a chance now. By the way, Warren had 1 assist and 2 steals in those 3 minutes.
