I just had an epiphany. I was thinking about the second round, after my post where everyone misunderstood what I was saying about the draft. Started looking at the second round and saw that Bledsoe has dropped like crazy in this draft.. Then, I was thinking this could be for the best for him.. Imagine if the Kings took him.. He could be in the perfect situation..

    Kings:

    Udrith
    Evans
    Nocioni
    Landry
    Thompson
    Bledsoe
    Greene
    Hawes

Bledsoe could play off of Evans and when Evans wasnt in, he could play point while Udrith plays the 2. His role with this team could sure up their backcourt..

    HOWEVER

I think that Bledsoe will shoot up the draft boards when he starts jumping and running for the scouts.. They would be lucky to get him with their second pick.. Could be fun to see them playing together.

Dude is already being talked about as moving up the draft boards because he is starting to ride off of Wall’s hype. They said Bledsoe may be more athletic and also Wall and Bledsoe used to play one on one and Bledsoe held his own. If he can show some signs on point score skills I think people can compare him with Jameer Nelson.

Bledsoe has a lot of upside as he’s really athletic and also can shoot well from outside. Now he’s a bit late as his basketball iq is concerned. If he gets used quickly to the nba game, he could be a helluva steal

Noboby else has Bledsoe in the second round. Most others have him in the late teens to mid 20’s. Not sure what’s up with having him #36 here.

He is gonna go higher…. 8’2″ standing reach for a pg that fast? If a coach can teach him to keep his hands up in passing lanes…. he could be a Rondo like steal machine.

    He is scary.

If you consider a Kyle Lowry-type defensive minded PG “scary”…..yea. Bledsoe will be a scary, scary man.

And Mr. 6000 got his 2 cents in. Ching Ching.

I have no issue comparing him as a more athletic, longer, faster Kyle Lowry, who holds his own playing 1 on 1 with John Wall. Great work.

you do know these mock drafts right now are just guesses right? even the ones that talk to nba people since no one knows whos gonna still be on the board when they pick. some one could be on a teams draft board at 23 but if someone they didnt know was gonna drop is there then they would pass on the guy the used to want

Any speed or athleticism difference between Lowry and Bledsoe is super thin in either direction. And if Bledsoe can “hold his own” against John Wall, Lowry can too.

lowry is a good back up point guard and if bledsoe compares to him, i think he is a good pick around 16 to 20 because there arent 16 to 20 players in this draft better than lowry. bledsoe will find a place in the league as a really good backup.

Lowry is definitely a decent backup PG, but he’s more of a defensive specialist than anything. Lowry is a crazily tenacious defender. He’s not quite efficient enough offensively to play a truly big role though. Both have set shots, are explosive athletes, inefficient finishers and shooters, and both are/were raw as floor leaders when they entered the NBA.
