Do you think the Clips will trade him?

I read a story yesterday saying that the Clips will only trade him if a Superstar comes along, other than that they won’t let him go, alot of teams are interested in him after his performances in the playoffs.

Clippers possibly will have him next year and possibly pick up his option in 13-14, but if Bledsoe keeps improving don’t you guys think he will demand more money, and maybe want to go somewhere he can run the team and not be a backup?

Of course he will demand more money.  The Clips dont want to get rid of him, but if a deal comes about, they will.  Many times throughout history there was not enough room for two talented PGs.  Immediately I remember when Kevin Johnson and Mark Price both played for the Cavs.   Also, when Rod Strickland was Mark Jackson’s backup in NY.

Eventually Bledsoe will have to go if CP3 is still there, but the Clips know his value will continue to climb so they want to get the most out of it.   Right now though, they probably arent thinking about it because there isnt a guarantee for CP3 to stay with the team.

It doesn’t make sense to trade him until the Clippers know Paul is returning.  From the outside, keeping Del Negro and losing the GM certainly make it seem less likely Paul sticks around.
