With Kanter doing really well at the draft combine does that make kanter the 2nd best player after irving??

Kanter proving alot of people wrong however seeing him play is much different then these draft combine tests. Kanter best fit maybe washington along side mcgee and wall and there wings?

Can he play a true 5 man or is he best suited at the four? Him and mcgee would be nasty together!

as a twolves fan  washington can have kanter just send us wall and i guess i can call  it fair lol.

It seems that Minnesota really wanted Irving..And they are looking to trade that number 2 pick if a deal comes along that they like….I really like Kanter and those comparisions to Al Horford seem right on the money..

In January someone polled all 30 NBA teams and asked them to name the top 14 prospects in this draft and Kahn surprisingly had Kanter number 1..So does he still feel comfortable taking him now?

Derrick Williams is more of a physical beast for a SF than Kanter is for a C, but I am not sure teams are sold on Williams being a SF. I think it is possible that he could slide to #4. If Cleveland takes Irving, I can see Twolves taking Kanter if they think he is a C, I could then see Utah passing on Williams if they are not sure if he is a SF or PF because they already have a logjam at PF. I could then see the Cavs trying to trade that #4 pick again if they are not sure what he is. That’s why I think Williams has come out and made the statement that he is a SF. I actually think Derrick Williams is the only superstar in this draft and may end up on a team already in the playoffs by someone trading up or into the draft to get him.

I have him going to Minny at #2, i think it has to be done. If he can be near Horford, in this draft, grabbing an All Star caliber player is a big coup. Take him Kahn, unless u can pull off a big trade which I don’t see happening…

Kanter said last fall that part of the reason he wanted to play at Kentucky was that he did not see himself as a center and likes having the opportunity to face up and create.

I think Kanter is the 2nd best player in this draft, even over Williams, but I don’t think Minny should pick him. He’s just not a give fit with Love. They play almost identical, and they wouldn’t be good defensively.

I LOVE the idea of Kanter in Washington. Cleveland is almost guaranteed to take Irving, and if Minny keeps their pick, I still think the take Williams. And I heard that the Jazz like Kemba Walker, and that Cleveland favors Valanciunas with #4 over Kanter. And I heard that the Raptors like Brandon Knight and Jan Vesely, so there’s a slight possibility Kanter falls to #6. And if he doesn’t, I will be fine with the Wizards trading up to get him.

Kanter may not be the best fit next to Love, but Williams is a poor fit next to Beasley.  At least Kanter probably can play the five with Love at the 4 and Beasley at the 3.  With Williams, someone is going to have to sit on the bench unless Love or Williams could play the five.  Love at center might work for stretches, but defensively it is a poor long-term solution.  Williams, also, would be a poor long-term solution at the five.  If the Wolves take Williams, then it’s only a matter of time (be it a minute or a year) before either Beasley or Williams get traded.

Unlike many european players, his strong and physical, has great touch, and a good outside shot.  For me he is the 2nd best player in the draft but you have to feel like williams will go ahead of him since his proved himself in college, and that utah will go with a pg to replace williams (knight).  If cleveland gets kanter and irving like many project, they have something to be optimistic about in the future
