Mr.Knick 32ParticipantYea, we all make fun of Eddy “Fat Stacks” Curry. I don’t because when NY was in a regular offense? He put up I believe a 19ppg and 6rpg season. The man doesn’t fit in this the Mike Dantoni Offense and is the only reason why he won’t play. He could be a good bench option for a team IMO. His pricetag? a little high but he could be a banger downlow.
Anyway, The man idea of this is Eddy Curry is a FA and the Knicks are going to be looking to move him for a bad contract. I don’t see Bosh coming to NY and if he doesn’t, NY should look to buy back into round 1 and add a big man. Eddy Curry’s contract could bring in some players. Here are some of the players I could see NY looking to get by moving Eddy Curry’s contract:
Stephen Jackson
Richard Hamilton
Corey Maggette
Mike Dunleavy
Emaka Okafor
Andrei KirilenkoThis is just a short list. You could add someone like Tony Parker and Baron Davis on the list if SA and LAC wanted to move them. What do you think? Also, NY will have to throw in Chandler in the deal to move Curry. There is no chance Gallo will be traded.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantSince He’s been out for awhile..It’s hard to say rather or not he’s been working out ..But Eddy Curry still can help a team with his low post offense if he’s ever healthy..But for a center he’s a average rebounder…He lead the NBA in Field Goal Percentage his 2nd year in the league..And when he has been healthy, he’s been among the leaders in that department..Many teams could use him..But i’m not sure many teams will be willing to give up anything to get him..Knowing he hasn’t been at full strength the last few years and his weight problem ..He’s 1 of those guys that would’ve been alot better if he had gone to college…There he would’ve learn the intangibles of the game to add to his talent…How about trading him to OKC for 1 of their a draft picks?.

MagikKnickParticipantNobody wants Eddy Curry, hes truly has became just a fat overpayed player…
Hes a big body post up player, and thats all he is, mediocre defender, mediocre rebounder, overweight, and hasn’t played a meaningful game in about 2-3 years, hes injury prone, recently getting off of his 2nd knee injury, plus he has a bad heart..
I mean, im sure he’ll get traded sometime throughout next season, but dont expect it to be for something or someone remotely valuable..

joecheck88Participantokc needs to add players while they have the cap space, because durant green and westbrook wont be cheap in a few years.

dmo21Participanti could see detroit taking a chance on curry, they could give them some bad contracts back(but atleast those guys can play), detroit will actually have a center on their team that has a low post offensive presence, and if it doesnt work, he is gone the next year lol

McWinningParticipantParkers not getting traded. He barely makes any more money than Curry and is in the prime of his career, he also was dealing with planter fascistic all year so of course his numbers went down, hell be an all star next year, Knicks would have to trade Gallo definitely to get him.

DanEboyParticipantGuys like Curry make me sick. All the talent plus the size and he puts no effort into earning his insane contract. I can’t stand lazy athletes who make that kind of money.
How anyone can defend a guy like that is amazing.

knicksfan7ParticipantCurry has had some bad breaks, though he is lazy. I mean I bet he went through depression after he lost his girl friend, and also he is now having money problems. I hope he gets his life back in order.

DanEboyParticipantI feel bad for some of his personal issues…but we all have those.
Money problems?!?! fuck that guy.

NYK2010ParticipantHe’s a greedy a$$.
If it wasn’t for the Isiah who knows what kind of contract another team would’ve offered him.
The Bulls offered very lil back in 2005.
How does he return the favor by saying he won’t take a buyout what a joke.0 - AuthorPosts
