For those who want to know.. Eddy Curry was back at practice yesterday for the Knicks. That to me wasnt that big a deal, but what amazed me is how much weight he has lost. Dude looks ripped and trim. I would hope Dantoni inserts him into the offense to give them a post presense, because they sure as hell need it. He may lack defensive skills. But a couple years ago when he was in shape, he was unstoppable on the offensive end. If anything they can showcase him and make a trade to open up some money for next year. Oh and if you want to see the new Eddy just go to the Knicks website.

Holy Shit is that really Eddy Curry? WOW! I hope it’s no more setbacks for him personally or his career more importantly for the Knicks. Cause I’m sure tired of watching the Knicks jack up 3 pointers and go 8 for 25. Say what you want about Curry his defense is shaky but he can beast in the post. I really hope Eddy is a factor in the post, cause that will enhance the shooting game.

Curry might be the best offensive post player in the NBA. He has the best back to the basket game for any center in the league except possibly Shaq who has declined with age. He could have made the all-star team the year before we traded for Randolph.

That sounds encouraging for NY, Darko hasn’t really panned out, and although Curry has had some issues, if he is in shape and has his head on straight he is a very capable scorer, his career ppg is only 13, but he had a run where he was a 18-20 ppg guy while being a little overweight, NY needs all the help they cam get right now

Am I the only Knick fan dissapointed to see him come back? No ones going to trade for him, hes suck at rebounding, sucks at defending, wtf are we gonna do with him in a 7SoL offense? The Knicks season is already headed down the drain, and its only getting worse…Your a 6’11 athlete, how do you gain that much weight to begin with?

But, with all of that being said…I must admit, he is looking good, slimmed down dramatically.

If the Nuggets had any heart, well trade for Curry to help bulk up our front court. He may be motivated since his son was killed. He’s a sleeper now.

Dhamp2…the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

If curry comes back healthy and motivated i dont care what the knick haters say, hes a top 5 center in the nba. a few years before his collapse off and on the court he was a beast and i wish he can get back to that and actually would love to keep him as a knick fan.

Yeah, he is a one trick pony, but he’s pretty good at that one trick, his career low in fg% was .496 and he’s only 27. I’ve never been a big Eddy Curry fan, I watched him develop as a Bulls fan, but I will admit his offensive ability makes him worth having on your roster. He isn’t a franchise center, but it’d be nice to give David Lee a solid backup,…Darko is averaging 2 points and 2 rebounds this year, thats a pretty big burden for Lee to shoulder as a 6’9” center.

he could be a starter, move lee to the 4 where he belongs, gallo 3, chandler 2 and toney douglas start at point. nate and harrington first 2 off the bench, and give 15-20 minutes to hill, maybe a couple to hughes as well. thats the rotation i want.

19.5 and 7 boards on 57.6% SHOOTING, and he wasnt even in good shape back then. if all the shit hes been through lately can motivate him he is still young and can easily turn his career around. I was a big hater and didnt believe he can turn it around but after seeing the video of him he looks very dedicated and im excited now lol.

basically alot of knicks fans are reaching..its understandable when things arent going that well. but i doubt if hes comming back after being out so long and is just gonna start putting up 20 (i dont even ee 13) especially in this up and down offense..he was never a face break type big man ..more then anything the team wants him to play so they can showcase enough of him that someone will be dumb enough to trade for him and take that contract..on a good note tdouglas is doing work tonight
