Ed Davis drafted with the lucky number 13th draft pick of the 2010 Draft is set to make his debut, Wed vs the Wizards. Ed Davis suffered a knee injury that had him sitting out the pre-season and the beggining of the regular season after making a strong debut at the Raptors Sumemr Camp. He spent most of his time lifting wieghts and watching game tape, and is a dedicated worker off the court due to his background (father Terry Davis and honourary uncle Ben Wallace). The Raptors sent davis down to the D-League so not to throw him straight into the fire and let him get back into games shape, but with Reggie Evans breaking his foot and Joey Dorsey and Amir Johnson unable to make any kind of impact against the Atlanta Hawks Davis has been called up, and should log regular rotation minutes from the get go. I expect Davis to play like a more athletic Antonio Mcdyess (now) with more defensive tenacity. With Amir Johnson still unable to stay out of foul trouble, and the Raptors losing consistantly Ed Davis could be in line for consistant starts all year long even when Evans returns.

    His name is Eddie Davis.

Your mistake is understandable, it’s a common misconception.
