sheltwon3ParticipantCeltics ran out of gas. I think they know because I could tell by look in some of their players eyes. It was like a defeated look. OKC would have ended them had the won tonight anyway. Miami can not beat OKC unless James scores this much and Wade scores like 30. You can imagine that will not happen for four games.

ChewyParticipantare unbeatable when Lebron plays like that. He has the type of talent to single handedly win a game. 19-26 from the floor is a mind blowing stat.

akhan786ParticipantLebron James absolute beast. He dominated so much quarters 1-3 he didn’t even have to bring the same effort in the 4th quarter.
The Celtics played horribly. Rondo was turning the ball over like crazy, Pierce couldn’t buy a basket.
Let’s hope Game 7 is a bit more competitive that this.

akhan786ParticipantI said this in another thread, but big props to the Celtics fans who stuck in there with their team till the end.
It gave me goosebumps when they went to the wide view and saw thousands of Boston fans chanting.

akhan786ParticipantEven though one of the fans threw his drink on Lebron lol.

For_Never_EverParticipantFunny how Steven A Smith is talking now. When it was lastnight he was saying without a doubt the Celtics would win this no matter what.

NYK2010ParticipantNo more luck for the Celtics the lucky bounces in Game 5 didn’t happen as much and didn’t really matter.
LeBron wasn’t dealing with a close game and misses by role players.
Taking it to the rim and attacking in the post was great too.
Need Wade to show up in the 1st half of games and put Boston away early.

omphalosParticipantThere was a point in the 4th where Pierce could have cut it to ten points with an open layup and instead fumbled it, gave it to Lebron and it resulted in a 3 pointer. That was the turning point for me, if they could have just got down to single digits like they could have a few times, it would have been enough to possibly break Miami’s spirit, but they just couldn’t get to a point where they put the pressure on.
Don’t underestimate the impact Bosh had tonight, his numbers weren’t gaudy, but defensively he was a much needed improvement against Garnett.
It’s a hard day to be a Celtics fan, but aside from terrible FT shooting, Lebron was unstoppable. To paraphrase a Larry Bird quote "That was Michael Jordan disguised as Lebron James out there."
