G-Brandon Roy, POR
G-Russell Westbrook, OKC

F-Rudy Gay, MEM
F-Paul Millsap, UTA
C-Tim Duncan, SAS
just missed: Tyreke Evans, Deron Williams, Luis Scola, Kevin Martin, David Lee, Stephen Curry, Blake Griffin, Mike Conley, Al Jefferson

G-Derrick Rose, CHI
G-John Wall, WSH
G-Joe Johnson, ATL
F-Paul Pierce, BOS

C-Joakim Noah, CHI
C-Brook Lopez, NJ
just missed: Andrew Bogut, Brandon Jennings, Gerald Wallace, Elton Brand, Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng, Josh Smith, Al Horford, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, Andrea Bargnani, Vince Carter
I think Bogut has a better chance of being an all-star this year than Noah, if Milluakee can get back on track of course
Deron Williams will have a chance to be a starter, no way he isn't an all-star this year. I don't see an all-star team without Williams and Nash, they're arguably top 3 PG this year. I don't think Westbrook has much of a chance
I'd love to see Wall in the ASG
Yeah I don't see deron williams not being an all star. I am a band wagon thunder fan for the past couple yrs and still would take d will over westbrook in my sleep
deron williams is not getting robbed agian out of all star game dought it!!
Paul Millsap over Deron Williams??? Other than that pretty good list. I like the prediction of Wall being an all-star. That would make him the first rookie all-star since Yao Ming in 2003.
...dont forget Yao has 3billion people voting for him
my predictions do not take into account fan voting
just missed: lamar odom, tyreke evans, rudy gay, zach randolph, arron brooks, russel westbrook
just missed: kevin garnett, chris bosh, vince carter, gerald walace, gilbert arenas, danny granger, joakim noah
@magmo68 Yeah I know Yao had lots of votes.... Tim Duncan was the last before him in 1998....
@llperez, you don't think Wall will get consideration at all?
theres a number of guys on both sides that i didnt list that will get some consideration. But i think wall is gonna shoot a low percentage, turn the ball over quite a bit, teams will load up on him a little more after his breakout game the other day, arenas will steal some shots, and the wizards will struggle as a team. I think his teammate arenas will have more of a chance then him.
Forgive me for asking but can Wall of Griffin even make the the all-star game? I though rookies couldn't.
My predictions (starters in bold)
G Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Tyreke Evans, Monta Ellis
F Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Rudy Gay, Luis Scola, Tim Duncan
C Yao Ming, Pau Gasol, Al Jefferson (replacement for Yao Ming when he is advised not to play in the game in order to rest his injury)
G Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo, Joe Johnson
F Lebron James, Amare Stoudemire, Danny Granger, Al Horford, Carlos Boozer
C Dwight Howard, Brook Lopez
yes rookies can play in the all-star game
leave a space for Carmelo on the East cuz that's where he's gonna be at all-star time....
If bargs keeps scoring he might have a chance.
If wall makes the all star game (which i doubt he will ) watchout!
Always thought Millsap would be booz replacement. thats part of the reason I didnt like the big al trade. The paper boy is this teams best pick and roll player. Their best rebounder. Their hardest worker. And all around could have a legit shot at the all star game. I mean if he averages 20 and 10 watch out. I really hope once okur gets back okur comes of the bench cause millsap is the man.
Also can I get some love for Hibbert!?!? If the pacers are fighting for the 8 seed in the east which isnt out of reach why wouldn't you consider this guy. He is the best big passer in the game today. I could actually see him averaging 4-5 assist a game during the rest of the season. 9-10 rebounds. 16-19 points. 2-3 blocks. Those are all star numbers. So what i got to say is Hibbert and Millsap are my two wild cards for the All Star team this year
Hibbert is a great wild card choice as an all-star but the East actually has a high number of players that should challenge for the center position. It won't be easy even with 18 PPG, 9 RPG and 2 BPG. Dwight is practically a lock. After him Bogut, Lopez, Noah, Horford and STAT (I know he's more of a PF but he was a C in the all-star game last year) will battle it out along with Hibbert.
um i think you guys forgot darko, whats the deal?
I don't think Boozer will have enough PT with the bulls to find his rythmn by the ASG. Besides, I think Blake Griffin is already a better player than Booz.
darko is shooting 14% from the field...what a useless giant
As long as Monta & Josh Smith don't get robbed again, I'm good.
No way D-Will doesn't make it...and Rudy Gay will probably get more love than Millsap. Very good list overall.
he got robbed last year....he shoulda made instead of Horford....
