dwight howard is getting exposed

he got out played straight up by pau gasol in last years finals. Now he looks like a scrub against the celtics. Hey Dwight, hitting one out of every 5 touches does not make you a go to player. Maybe next year, but for now:

llperez, idk what the video

llperez, idk what the video has to do with the post, but DHAMP was gloating about how he was right about Dwight Howard. Though, yes he is getting outplayed. If I were you I would be afraid of the Celtics beating the Lake Show.

im afraid of nothing. The lakers want the cletics. the celtics want the lakers. In 2008 the lakers were missing two starters, last year the celtics were missing KG. Now both teams are healthy so no excuses. Lets get it on. And my video was just for fun

Dwight Howard is hyped just

Dwight Howard is hyped just like Lebron is hyped. They are talented but they dont have complete games. They are really good but their teams are not well put together to hide their weakness. Howard needs a point guard or player to get him the ball in spots he needs. He played great game 2. Jameer Nelson is a good player but he is a below average point guard as far as playmaking and passing into the post. Rashard lewis has not showed up to help take pressure off Dwight. I think people are expecting too much. Shaq in his Lakers days maybe would have gotten shut down by Boston's defense. I mean San Antonio defense could do it and right now Boston has that D. Also this Boston versus Lakers is what the league has really been wanting maybe more than Kobe- Lebron because Cleveland does not have a complete team like Boston. Also resting players is where is at because Boston would have never made it a whole season without doing that. D Hamp is not really right right because everyone knows that Howard offensively needs to get better just like people say Lebron is better than Kobe even though Lebron has no post game and a not a very strong mid range game.

Don't be confused. The lakers

Don't be confused. The lakers are speaking with confidence because they are the defending champs and they should feel that way. That said, Boston is a mtchup nightmare for the lakers. The lakers height advantage will be no more as both KG and Perkins are 7 footers with grit and they will rattle gasol and bynum. Then they have Rasheed on the bench as well. Rajon rondo is playing beyond what anyone wouldve expected and it's been against better competition. Fisher is going to get TORCHED in every way. I think this series will make him
finally retire because of the embarrasment he's going to have to deal with. Kobe and pierce I think will cancel each other out in terms of
scoring and Ray Allen will definitely outscore Ron artest. This is where the laker fans will see why they miss Trevor ariza so much. I hate the way Paul pierce plays but he'll definitely get his fair share of points on artest. Bynum is going to get pushed around by Perkins especially since his knee isn't 100%. Gasol is going to get taken out of his comfort spots and KG will play him exceptionally well. I don't think pau will be able to step out and contest KG well enough. Tony Allen will come in and just make it tough on Kobe. He'll get his but it'll be exactly how it was in 08 when Kobe got his points but had to work his ass off to get them and everyone else got pushed around. And I hope no one uses the reason that LA won the season series which I believe they did but Boston lost the season series to Orlando and look at what's taken place. The lakers are in for a world of hurt unfortunately

Jameer Nelson is below average? He was an all star a season ago and probably wouldve been again this year if he wasn't out in the beginning of the year. They are here because of his point guard and leadership skills. He's having a bad series as is all of Orlando. Unfortunately Dwight being exposed in this series is all on Dwight. He's getting the ball a boatload of times but because of his lack of offensive repertoire he hasn't been able to get it done. Let's give credit to the Celtic bigs fir playing the toughest D Dwight has ever had to deal with but at the same time with all the physical tools he possesses there's no excuses. I agree that both he and lebron are incomplete players at this point though. Lebron isn't a closer and Dwight doesn't have a potent enough offensive gameplan. But he's definitely getting his share of looks and he hasn't taken advantage of them the way he could or should. Of these two lebron and Dwight I think Dwight will become complete before lebron if lebron even does. I feel that Dwight has a true desire and love for the game that will help him get to where he wants to be which is among the greatest of all time. Now lebron has alredy shown that he feels he is bigger than the game and all he's talking about now is how he wants to win championships. Of course that's obvious because all players want that but lebron wants them because he wants to show that he's that great and be able to be mentioned with Kobe and mj. I'm trying to say that lebron wants rings so he can say I told you so whereas Dwight wants to be the best player he can be and win championships on his way. Lebron would take championships even if it meant he wasn't a complete player. You can see it in how he won't take accountability for what's happened. It's "on the team." I don't feel he loves the game and that's why I hate him so much

sacphil, obviously we have to

sacphil, obviously we have to wait and see what will happen. But you point out how the celtics have advanteages at every matchup then say kobe doesnt give the lakers an advantage bnecuase he and pierce cancel each other out? come on now. I might as well say Fisher and rondo cancel each other out if you are gonna say kobe and paul cancel each other out.

i have watched ron artest

i have watched ron artest gaurd kobe, lebron, carmelo, durant all of them. I will say right now with out hesitation, he gaurds Paul pierce better then he gaurds anybody. Dont belive me? Go peep any ron vs paul stats. Ron locks paul up, period. He's been doing it since he was in indiana. So im sorry if i dont agree with paul and kobe equal each other out

Sacphi you are like a lot of

Sacphi you are like a lot of people who do not read what i wrote. I said he is an average point guard as far as playmaking and passing in the post. That is a big different than what you said i said. All of you guys online can read right. Everything i wrote is true and you can talk to any basketball person or even watch games and see that what i am saying is true. Jameer Nelson is shoot first point guard who knows how to control tempo and run the pick and roll. He is and never will be a great passer. This fact hurts Howard and his other teammater sometimes. Jameer Nelson would be perfect with the Laker taking Fisher's place.

Missing playmakers

Orlando is just missing playmakers to make Howard's life easier.

Rafer Alston did a good job running point, and Turkoglu is one of the best passing forwards in the league.

Howard is gonna have to start making his moves faster, but he can't cuz his footwork isn't technically sound yet.

The Bynum/Perkins matchup should be interesting in the finals tho. Bynum uses his length well, but Perkins is one of the strongest guys in the league.

Since I joined these forums

Since I joined these forums last year I've said Howard's completely overrated and his numbers are a product of few other true centers in the league, and if he played in the mid 90's he'd be a power forward or a back up. He's basically Kevin Willis with longer arms. He's got awkward footwork in the post, no go to move, is mechanical with his release and has a bad handle. His only redeeming quality is he has a decent left hand. The sad thing is that even after all this time in the league he hasn't ironed out any of those wrinkles. I think this series is really gonna screw with his confidence. Something about him strikes me as mentally weak. Y'all can quote me here as saying we're looking at the best Howard we'll ever see.

Kobe on Allen

The Lakers would be better

The Lakers would be better off having Kobe defend Rondo and Fisher defend Allen. Kobe could defend Rondo similar to the way he defended Westbrook.
