With Luol Deng been given the go ahead to play for Great Britain this summer, perhaps this might be a conduit for Bulls to trade the first-time allstar in light up of him showing how healthy he really is over there in Europe. If all goes swell, my guess is Bulls move Deng, Noah, Gibson, Mirotic’s rights and the Charlotte pick(Highly Likely Wiggins) for Howard. In the likelihood Howard doesn’t commit long term, Bulls can go ahead and rebuild around Rose via Free Agency.

To be completely honest with you. There is no trade scenario that the Bulls could offer that would give the Magic anywhere near equal value for Howard.

So, you want the Bulls to give up the core of their team, plus a potential stud in Mirotic, plsu a potential number one overall pick on a whim they might be able to sign D12, who is coming off back surgery, to a long term deal. And then, after gutting a very good team that has had the best record in the league the last two seasons while battling injuries, you just say, "Oh well" if they can’t sign D12 long term and just rebuild around Rose via free agency like it is super easy to do?

    No.

So Rose, Hamilton, Korver, Boozer and Howard that won’t win them a title.

The bench would be Watson, Brewer, Asik, Scalabrine.

If the Bulls did want a shot at Howard, they merely play the waiting game as his contract runs down so his trade value will decrease and Orlando may have to look for a fire sale.

Other teams can offer good deals and the Bulls do have good pieces but they will not make any major moves whilst D-Rose is out I figure apart from maybe getting a veteran PG in to help cover the minutes alongside C.J Watson.

Orlando need to get a deal on the table for D12 and hope he commits to stay or at worse extends if he is traded to a team of choice aka Melo to Knicks deal.

This post is horrible… This guy didn’t even mention Boozer, the one guy the Bulls should move…

Except no one wants to trade for Boozer’s contract.
