If Dwayne Wade ends up with more championships would he be considered a better player than Lebron? better career?

welll i would think people could figure it out, it's just espn stat heading

but it's games, mpg, fgm-a, fg %, 3pm-a, 3p %, ftm-a, ft%, off, def, total rebounds, steals, blocks, turnovers, fouls, assists, points

You would also think

You would also think double posts could be avoided as well. Thanks I thought those were the categories, but wanted make sure.

More championships doesn't

More championships doesn't make you a better individual player, it makes you a better team player.

If you think championships makes you better, then you might think Derek Fisher is better than Allen Iverson. Derek is just a better team player and he fits his system very well.

but this isn't a derek fisher

but this isn't a derek fisher vs. allen iverson situation. Dwayne Wade is clearly a top 5 player in the league and his stat output isn't that far behind Lebrons. If they're stats were to remain this close throughout their careers and dwade has more championships he could be held in a higher regard.

I mean I think Dwade has the same thing as Kobe on his side, he's a better player than lebron, lebron is just this athletic specimen that imposes his will, he still needs to work on his game. If Lebron doesn't win a championship he will be criticized unlike Charles barkley and KarL Malone and other people before him.

and @DinoRadja I tried to delete them but I couldn;t figure it out.

My favorite player is d-wade,

My favorite player is d-wade, but you have to remember, LeBron is not even in his prime, players usually reach their prime at the age of 27-29, LeBron is only 25.. 2-3 years from now, he's going to be averaging 30-10-10 instead of 29-8-8, and he's going to have a better outside shot. So it's still too early for this question to be asked.

what kind of statement is

what kind of statement is that? "Lebron could easily average a triple double if he wanted to"

what player wouldn't want to average a triple double? Especially when he's trying to be one of the greatest ever.

Lebron is the most talented

Lebron is the most talented basketball player ever, their are things he can do on the court that even dwanye wade, jordan kobe etc cant do. If Lebron say doesnt win any championships hes still going to murder almost every offensive record out their and will put up other worldly numbers once he retires so i think his place in history is already secure and yeah id still consider his career better then dwayne wades if they both stay the way it is. Jordan and Kobe will say have the better NBA careers based on their champion ships becuz i dont see lebron getting 5-6 championships in his career but for me if he won like 3 he'd be right up their on my list becuz seriously just watch a game and you will witness that you are watching a once in a lifetime player in the making. Wade has the championship, but is older and has had plenty injuries allready it might not affect him not but latter towards the end of his career with out that explosiveness he wont be the same player but if he won one more ship would elevate him greatly on my list becuz he makes plays no matter whos on the court and the finals against the mavericks was one of my favourite finals in the past couple years, he willed that team

Lol

LeBron plays in an inflated offense like NY n PHX it's hard for me to think he'll ever average a triple double in a different offense... N to the nut who said Championships DOESN'T matter yu must be a damn fool... Thats what separates the great players from the GREATEST... Jordan, Magic, Bird, Kobe, Shaq, Tim, Hakeem, Wilt... Now Iverson, Barkley, Malone, Stockton, (for now) LeBron will NEVER be considered the greatest n go look at their STATS... Then after the Championships yu have to look at what seperated the Greatest from the BEST Jordan had no holes to his game NONE... That's why he is considered the Best ever... The only player coming close to that is Kobe but he doesn't have as much accomplishments (which playing along Shaq, and the media hating yu becuz of Colorado can lead to that)... Unless LeBron goes to a team n take less money so they can sign another superstar n role players he's NOT winning for at least a couple of years... 28? N without a game since the athleticism is going to deplete I don't see how someone can say he WILL win one... Tell that fool to stop doing interviews n partying n get mid-range game, post game, n a go-to move before he looks up n realize his career is over without a ring ...

tuck243 you are a smart guy.

tuck243 you are a smart guy. because people aren't realizing that stuff and are just talking.

I mean even look at a person like Steve Nash who has 2 mvp's(2 that he doesn't deserve in my opinion) most people still don't consider him a top 5 point guard. So it's not just about stats, and in my argument Dwade's stats aren't that far behind. So if he ends up with more championships and their stats stay on a similiar pattern. Could DWADE be considered better?

Off course. Give Karl Malone

Off course. Give Karl Malone four championships like Duncan (or in reverse take away Duncan's 4 titles) and all of a sudden we would have a new greatest PF of all time.

If Wade win another championship or two and Lebron stays ultra productive but never wins the big one, Wade will prob go down as superior.

Another good example is Russell/Chamberlain. Chamberlain clearly has better stats. But many historians cite Russell as the better player due to his 11 championships to Wilts 2.
