Chilbert arenasParticipantDwayne Polee announced his decision to play at San Diego State University after transferring from St. Johns. I thought SDSU and UCLA would have suited him best because he won’t be expected to play outside of himself. I’ve watched him play on many occasions and he can’t create is own shot or shots for others but is an energy player who gets his production on the break and rebounds. I love his potential but I don’t see the NBA in is near future. Who do you guys feel about the fit?

JNixonParticipantHis length and great athleticism will be a good fit for SDSU. We all saw over the past 2 years, they are an ultra-athletic team that gets out and defends. He should be a strong defender and transition, hustle guy for them. He also will be a solid scorerin the MWC even though he’s not a shot creator.

NJHooper95ParticipantThe NBA likes athletes and Polee is one of the best. He will need to refine his game for the next next, but as far as college, I think he can be a productive player if he is willing to put in the work.

Mr. 19134ParticipantI love this transfer and think Polee can eventually do similiar things to what Leonard did as long as he works hard on his game. And UCLA would of been a terrible place, look at what Polee did at St. Johns nearly nothing despite starting more then half the time. St. Johns and UCLA both play a half court oriented offense. SDSU likes to get out on the break where Polee will flourish in transition.

scoutguruParticipantYeah, as a jonnies fan, it was tough to see him go, knowing the increased role he’d have next season. I wanted to see him grow and develop over his time to go from good looking prospect, to possibly all big east player as an upperclassmen. But he should be a star over there at SDSU, I wish him the best.
