Is he really born in 95? He’s going to be 21 by the time the 2016-17 season starts? That’s pretty odd to say the least.  How was he even eligible to play high school ball this year?  He seems like a very good prospect but his age has to at least take a little luster off of his high school performance.

Yeah he is two classes behind. I feel like his HS dominance might have had a little Shabazz Muhammad to it.

Yeah that’s whack. People are always overlooking age.

Guys like Skal Labissiere play very little organised basketball, and then he dominates Thon Maker who is 12 months younger and people are hypping him as the #1 pick. It’s like these ‘scouts’ have fallen over and bumped their head. Even 6 months makes a huge difference at that age. Remember how bad the kids in the class above you could whoop your ass on the court.

Now that Thon Maker’s playing against his own age again, he’s skyrocketing up draft boards again. I didn’t know that about Bacon

Thon is a bit old for his class right now though… Class of 2016 kids are suppose to be born in August/September 1997 to July/August 1998. That’s why Thon was thinking about reclassifying since he’d be eligible for the NBA in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Skal has the same thing… Born a couple of month before the usual age for the Class of 2015 kids.

I just noticed that the age difference between Bacon and Noah Vonleh is 6 days. I can only imagine how dominant Vonleh would have been last year had he been playing against high-schoolers
