XavierAllTheWayParticipantSo relieved that Dunn refused to give Celtics medical records. I would hate it if they use their #3 pick on him. While he is good, I don’t think he will be great. I believe rozier and Marcus smart will be as good as Dunn in the future

Bankroll PJParticipantThe Celtics don’t have any big position needs other than center so they just need to draft the best player available, but I hae no idea who that is after Simmons and Ingram

UnbiasedObserverParticipantThe Celtics need to put together a package of the number 3 pick. Number 16 pick and once of their many talented guards to the Sixers for Jahlil Okafor.
This rumor is starting to pick up steam and actually makes complete sense for both teams. The Sixers don’t have a single viable Guard on the roster and the Celtics don’t have a viable big man.
A trade of number 3, 16 and either Rozier/Hunter possibly even Avery Bradley for Okafor.
I read somewhere that the Celtics and Sixers were mere seconds away from a deal for Okafor so I see them revisiting trade talks and the Celtics putting together a strong package to land him. It makes too much sense to not happen.

XavierAllTheWayParticipantProblem is u know sixers is going to ask for way more than that especially since embiid status is still up in the air. Best case scenario for Celtics is if embiid tears it up in summer league [if he plays]. Then sixers will be more willing to trade oak

UnbiasedObserverParticipantThat is an EXTREMELY FAIR trade. If the Sixers are getting really greedy then they gotta throw in another good young guard.
The Celtics are done collecting picks and young players from the draft. They are going to be trading for an established guy with star potential. (Okafor isn’t exactly established) but he’s a star player on the rise.
Celtics need to bite the bullet and offer a godfather like offer to get either Okafor or Cousins or another stud big man.

markfitz14ParticipantPrblm with that is the Celts will prbly have taken Bender by then. If that trade doesn’t happen on draft night it prbly won’t.

holefillers1ParticipantIf I’m Sixers I ask for more than Okafor is worth. Boston’s 3rd plus Smart and James Young. If Boston won’t bite then tuff titties for them. Can always trade Okafor at trade deadline or next year’s draft depending on how the lotto shakes out…I am probably more inclined to wait until next year’s draft to deal him anyway being as that draft appears to be loaded with talent.
