DeRozan was robbed? His first dunk was rad, not as good as Blake’s first, but his second dunk blew Blake’s out of the water. JaVale’s first three were fantastic, his last one was just decent. Blake jumping over the hood of the car was fairly cool, I mean I did not think the theatrics made it any better of a dunk, but it sewed up the contest for him. Still, while Blake’s first dunk was out of control hard, I think DeMar was insanely robbed and it more than likely should have been he and McGee in the finals, which they would never let happen of course since Blake HAD to win. I also hate the fan voting in the finals, it literally kills the excitement because you know who will win, it is a popularity contest and Blake is not losing that. Nonetheless, I thought it was actually a great contest, literally every dunk in the first round was memorable other than Blake’s second dunk, which was not that big of a deal as compared to everything else. His first dunk was fire, but DeRozan’s was rad and his second dunk was ridiculous. Serge too, that guy is such a great athlete. Best dunk of the night was JaVale’s first dunk, bar none, he may be tall and insanely long, but he reps it incredibly well. Honestly, as awesome as Blake’s first finals dunk was, I feel like JaVale’s was not too far behind. The car beat him, but I would have loved to see honest to goodness scores. Blake would have won by a bit. I feel like they all should have been in the finals honestly, did you all not want to see what Serge and DeMar brought in the finals? I know DeMar had 4 dunks prepared, he got robbed, that guy can fly. Serge is so much fun to watch, and his free throw line dunk was the furthest one that we have seen in an NBA contest. Great contest, a little anti-climactic, but this one was way better than the last couple years. Never thought I would say this, but I was glad Nate Robinson was not in the dunk contest (though I would have said that last year when he won as well).
