What The DevilParticipantThis Summer League game between the Kings and the Hornets can only be described as a dumpster fire. Both teams are playing very selfishly and I think there were more turnovers than field goals at one point going into the half. But at least the Kings are winning 32-29 so they have that going for them.
I’m honestly seeing very few positives for either team. Some of the 2nd yr and over players for the Kings just don’t seem to have improved and Stauskas seems to be forcing things more than last game. Vonleh is looking better for the Hornets but then again anything is an upgrade from 0-13.

TRC1991ParticipantThe suns had 2 assists in their loss last night…TWO…this game can’t be that bad, can it?

What The DevilParticipantKings are losing 40-44 with 2:33 left in the 3rd and they have 3 assists. It’s very comparable.

Ghost01ParticipantThe entire summer league is a dumpster fire.
Bad players playing bad basketball, and people getting excited about rookies and D Leaguers for performing in what is a essentially a practice atmosphere. I’m impressed their haven’t been more grand pronounciation threads like last year when Kelly Olynyk was Gasol 2.0, and Valucinas was going to be an All Star.

CavFanPRParticipantVonleh had 18 rebounds, that’s pretty nice. Wait a minute, the Kings started Derrick Williams at center? What in the world.

What The DevilParticipantThe Kings have utterly failed at getting anyone to protect the rim this offseason. It was astounding how they completely ignored that need.

tuck243ParticipantI just look at good moves as oppose to a stat line…
Noah and PJ are playing terrible… Yea, Noah had 18 boards, but he also had 8 fouls?? PJ had 7… Just terrible basketball being played by those 2… I’m not going to harp too much on it because it’s summer league, but still… I’m more than comfortable seeing someone going 0-13 if he’s shooting efficient shots… But Noah wasn’t…

rileymcshea3ParticipantIt’s a lot easier to pass to players when you know their tendencies. None of these guys have played together and probably won’t play good as a team until after a couple of games. You’ll see better basketball after the first couple of days.
