I wanna know the real reason why does Lawrence Frank can’t play this guy more than 20 minutes a game, they keep losing, but yet, they play Charlie V and Maxiel lol.. Andre Drummond is posting 13.7 points and 13.5 rebounds per 36 minutes while shooting over 59%, thats incredible to me.. I honestly see him leading the league in rebounds for alot of years to come.. Also 1.7 blocks on 20 minutes per game.. wut? Is Freethrow is really a concern though.. Even worse than Dwight, I hope he can get better and reach atleast 60% at the line.

He still picks up fouls fairly quickly (5 each in his last two games), and his stats look good adjusted for 36 minutes but stats don’t increase at a linearly rate when you almost double the minutes. His efficiency and rebounding rate would definitely decrease.

Losing games will improve Detroit’s draft position anyways, and Frank does have him starting now at least

    a few reasons.
    a) they want to tank
    b) playing him against other bench players will build up his confidence – he is still young and raw.
    c) he is foul prone
    d) he is coming of an injury so don’t want to risk big mins

Yes he is a good player, but no need to rush him. If i was the Detroit coach I would be doing exactly the same…
