Looking good at least in this picture.
How do you post pictures in this forum? thanks
I'll know D. Rose is back when I see him change directions, jump off of his left foot and do the same move he did when he got injured.
He was dunking way back in February, even doing tomahawks in pre-game warm-ups. He just wasn't mentally ready I assume, I think he'll be back and 100% as I've still heard nothing but great things about his work ethic.
As for posting pictures, I've never tried it myself, and simply embedding the post didn't work for me.
mark my words...
D-Rose is back! I love what he did, and how he handled his injury. You see all these guys now (RG3, Kobe) trying to come back ASAP from major injuries, and i just think its (usually) a mistake. He didnt feel ready, so therefore he wasnt. A doctor can clear you medically, but speaking from somebody who has torn their ACL, the hardest part about playing again is MENTAL.
As long as he doesnt think about it too much, which i dont think he will at this point, he will be back in MVP form and he will bring the Bulls back into contention.
This isn't necessarily important but I was curious if any of you have ever seen rose dunk with one hand
Not to take away from this amazing dunk.. But do you have a video of him going up and dunking with one hand? Because here he is just grabbing it from the air. You really don't see him throw down with one hand off the dribble now that I think about it..
just shows Westbrook elevates alot more than Rose off of 1 leg
He looks impressive in that pic and hopefully he is back in top form but I am shaking my head at the ludicrous posts on that facebook link. So many people who say Rose is the best player in the game and better than Lebron it's ridiculous. Rose is a great player and might not have peaked yet but he still is not as good as Lebron, and that was obvious even before his injury and Lebron's first 2 rings.
Not that I care about negatives, but just for debate sake...
This photo doesn't show D. Rose is back. Reconstructive surgery doesn't really hurt your vertical. It hurts your ability to stop and go, pivot, cut, plant, change directions, etc. We won't know just how "back" he is until we see him do those things. I'm interested to see if he can get back to doing those things at the freakish level he did before.
Also in all of the videos, photos, etc we've seen of D. Rose since his surgery... He's always either jumped off of his right foot or two feet. Not once have we seen him jump off of his dominant jumping leg.
his body was cleared to play last year, we are just waiting for his head to get right.
