Melo2Amare1ParticipantWith such a weak draft who do you guys see being the steal and real all-star or perennial starter and contributor for years to come?
I like Marshon Brooks, Kenneth Faried and even Jimmer Fredette just to name a few who are going to be mid-lotto to mid first round picks….Top 10 picks excluded.

lakersgm24ParticipantJeremy Tyler, Josh Selby, Reggie Jackson, Malcolm Lee to name a few.

ghettosermonParticipantHe won’t be an allstar or maybe even a starter but David Lighty is a guy who sticks out to me. One of the best defenders in the draft and can knock down shots. He is a smart seasoned player. There is always a premimium on a defender who can hit open shots. He will go in the mid-late 2nd but will have a long NBA careeer as a solid role player where as countless players drafted above him will be out of the league in the blink of an eye.

JoeWolf1I think Jimmy Butler will be a 2nd round steal, he’s got a well balanced skill set, good size, athleticism, experience and the ability to guard SG, SF. I think he’ll go 40-50, make roster and be one of those 2nd round players who have a long productive career.

omphalosParticipantJeremy Tyler could be a big steal in the right situation for sure. All the talent in the world and with the lack of depth at the C position in the NBA could be an All-Star some day.

kobyzParticipantyeah, definitely David Lighty! if he improve his FT% numbers i don’t see why he couldn’t be Anthony Parker Toronto days type player, good size, good allround athlete, good allround skills, nice defender and nice 3 point shooting.

robertjamisParticipantSome guys I like…
Keith Benson- seems undervalued. Produced against top teams. Has a nice jumper, solid touch for a big man, and blocks shots. He can play some pick and pop, block some shots, and be something more once he gains some weight.
Norris Cole- Seems like a very smart player with an all around skill set at the point guard position. Very few true point guards in this draft, and he is one.
DeAndre Liggins- Team guy who doesn’t need the ball to be successful, has the athleticism and handle to create his own shot, and can defend three positions. I think he might be a better pro than college player.
Jamine Peterson- He has an NBA body, an NBA jumper, and his vert is quick and explosive. I think he’s going to be able to physically impose his will on other 3’s on both ends if a coach can get him to buy into defense. I think his character concerns are really overplayed and I feel like he’s made the most of his time since leaving Providence.

JunkYardDogParticipantthat’s difficult to say… a draft steal is about the rank.
Brooks could be one at 20-25
Faried is one at 20 too
Fredette is one at 15
Tyler is one "high risk high reward" at 20-25
Vucevic is one at 25
Harris also at 25
Vesely would be one if he falls to 7-10
Shumpert lighty in the second round. Cory joseph travis leslie have "steal profile".
Nolan smith kyle singler chandler parsons would be great choices if available in the second round.

AKOOParticipantJimmy Butler as some have said. I like his midrange game and decent atheticism. I can see him finding a role on a winner. If Darius Morris slips to the 2nd rd he is a steal. I see the Andre Miller in him. Malcolm Lee, passing on UCLA guards seems to be a bad idea. Travis Leslie and Trey Thompkins if either or both slip to the 2nd round. Keith Benson for all the thought that he needs to get stronger is to skinny is just 6 pounds lighter than Noah was when he entered the draft, but longer. I think Jordan Williams can carve out a niche as a rebounder and is a steal if taken in the 2nd round and Justin Holiday just has NBA DNA kinda like Wes Matthews. No one thought he would be this good. I think Holiday could be a steal also. Plenty of guys to choose from. Also, a guy noone is talking about Gary Flowers is a sick athlete.

kobyzParticipantGary Flowers is a raw talent, he remind me Travis Outlaw

JoeWolf1Yeah, Flowers is really raw, but a phenominal athlete. I think his age keeps him from getting drafted though, he may work his way into the league through free agency though.
