Draft better than last???

So ive been lookin at this years draft boards and watnot and i started thinking to myself....is this years draft seriously better than last years? i mean yea when u think about hasheem thabeet getting sent to the d league and the fact blake griffin didnt even play a minute(greg oden syndrome) that certainly puts a damper on things. But i think everyone was pleasantly suprised by the play of many point guards including ty lawson and brandon jennings.(lets not 4 get darren collison and th emergence of rookie sg wesley matthews). I think evan turner will be a helluva playe rin the nba but how bit of an impact is demarcus cousins or derrick favors gonna have? wat do u guys think?

Great Topic THUMBS UP FOR

Great Topic THUMBS UP FOR SURE

I believe this draft is about the same level as last years but the exact opposite at the same time

Last years draft was a deep in G's with a Big Man going 1st Overall

This years draft is deep in Big Men with a G going first overall

I think that (unfortunatley) Evan Turner is the early candidate for the Greg Oden Syndrome

And Hassan Whiteside looks to be this years version of Hasheem Thabeet

Although please let me clearly state Blake Griffen will be an amazing player in my opinion. And Hasheem Thabeet did play well hes just adapting to the NBA he is going to be a legit defensive stopper.

...................

This year the top draftees all come from major colleges...Schools that have won titles or have a winning history..This draft have more star quality..then last year's did..Plus remember Griffin will be considered a rookie next season..Everyone had question marks in last year's draft except Blake...Rubio was considered the 2nd best player..but people were wondering when or if he would ever play here? Some loved Harden but they said he wasnt athletic enuff..Could Curry be successful in the NBA? But some the questions were answered after the solid play of guys like Evans,Jennings,Curry,Blair & Collison ..plus a few others..But we must wait to judge, until they play the games...

This draft is a bit deeper at

This draft is a bit deeper at the top thats right. The star power is truely apparent this year.but thats at the projection stage your talking about at the NBA STAGE it looks to turnout fairly similar.Except bigs instead of Gaurds.

It very well could be more

It very well could be more talented than last year's draft but its still to early to tell. Also i think evan turner in the grand scheme of things could have the most productive career of all in this draft because i think he'll be able to play forever. I also don't think hassan whiteside is this years thabeet just because thabeet had absolutely NO polish offensively and whiteside has potential to be somewhat solid, maybe like marcus camby is on offense but i definitely feel he'll be better than thabeet. Also if you think about it, there were a bunch of guys in this draft who turned out to be rock solid. Tyreke obviously won ROY averaging numbers that all time greats did, curry was a close second and showed he could score at this level (even though he's in golden state and anyone could go there and average at least 10 points if they started) jennings is a great floor general and probably in the top 15 in the league for pgs collison once given the reins to a team will be in the same group as jennings, thornton showed he could be instant offense for the hornets and gives them a valuable piece as well as maybe sixth man of the year in a few years (?), blair in the second round was super productive on a veteran team, harden was rock solid and will start in place of sefolosha in a few years, as well as the others i didnt mention including griffin who has yet to play so we'll have to see how everything pans out but next season will be crazy with the rookies coming in and free agency and all the crazy things that will take place between now and the beginning of next season

as of rit now i see 5

as of rit now i see 5 starters in this draft tops its gonna b alott busts comin out this year n alotta dissappointed teams jus look who has sneaked n tha first round on tha mock draft boards none of these players r provin besides evan turner, john wall, wesley johnson, n mayb demarcus cousins...i dont think derrick favors is gonna have ne where near an impact in his first 3 years...n less he drastically improves i mean tha trainers n assistant coaches have there work cut out 4 them but there is def some raw talent here but turnin these guys into ball players well have to see about that

I feel like this NBA draft is

I feel like this NBA draft is very good. Although, After the top-5 picks numbers 6-15/20 are all very similar in terms of talent and possible NBA production. It's a good draft for teams who are late lottery/low seeded playoff teams.

great question

but i also think this draft wil be good. I mean ur right ppl were seriously questioning steph curry and nobody really even had tyreke evans on their minds. brandon jennings was considered a risky pick in the lottery and nobody knew where dejaun blair and tyler hansbrough were going. and look at them now. I do feel evan will have a good year but at the same time depending who he goes to it may be a disappointing year as well. I think the success of these players will depend on wat team they go to in the end.

dont forget that Griffin will

dont forget that Griffin will also be considered a rookie next year with this draft class. but i thnk even the 2nd round is way deeper than last. filling out mock drafts this year is hard because there are 4 or 5 guys i had to drop off the chart tht i really wanted. lost of talent. deep draft

I think this draft already

I think this draft already has more star power but with some many unknown coming out of the blue to make last draft look really good especially from the guard position. I tend to think that when there are better big men the draft tends to be better overall.
